overall I'm happy with the update but I still wish there was a way to get info if any CT's pushed lower tunnel. As of nades, I wont say its stupid until I see how each map plays out in this meta, but making it possible to drop nades only during freezetime seems more reasonable for me

having 2-3 extra smokes on ct side for a bombsite will be so op that I think teams will have someone juggling smokes to sites from spawn for the first minute of rounds. this shit is so stupid

If you have 5 smokes on one site the other will have just 0, it's just putting all your eggs into one basket, risk but also reward Also I think we'll rather see rotating players drop a smoke to the last defender in mid-late rounds rather than spawn juggling

you can only buy one smoke, even if you drop it you can't buy more (it's always been that way too, if you throw your smoke at the start of the round you can't buy another one)

ah, I had thought the point of the update was changing it so that you could drop grenades for your teammates if they are low on money. thats definitely better, I was envisioning a situation where you could drop as many grenades as you want in spawn

You can shoot smokes and they go super fast, if you just throw 1 smoke in the CT to B and shoot it 1 time with your pistol it will fly to B

An easy fix if that ever becomes a problem is to make it so that dropped nades disappear after 15 sec just like weapon magazines.

also i'm thinking about some flash strat : let's take a CPL A on mirage all the t's drop their flash close to t ramp, they cpl smokes, 4 t's go on site while 1 t throw 10 flashs in a row site cleared easly

The fakes could be insane too. 1 guy banana on inferno putting down 4 smokes, 4 mollies and then throwing 4flashes while everyone else goes other site.

1 guy doing all will be spotted very easy but can be usefull just not mainly for fakes. For example a proper execute with 3 or 4 going in without nades and very good communication with 2 guys throwing util from safe space.

idea on inferno ct side 3 people go B early and dump util on banana, you get control, then 2 guys drop smokes near car where the anchor will play and then he can smoke bottom banana for 45 seconds

You can still punish CTs rushing mid/lower if you jump into suicide. The update just makes it so CTs can go freely to B from mid doors and you can't gain info on that

yes you just need spawn based communication so that the guy close to suicide does the jump. I dont mind it. Still I will miss peaking from CT and flicking to either spawn or suicide, now its a bit toned down.

Executes onto bombsite are gonna be nuts, the amount of fakes and tricks you could do to make people believe there’s a full execute coming your way. But really it’s some dumb ass fake with 2 guys throwing 5 people’s worth of nades on 1 bombsite. Causing rotations so that the other 3 can catch them off. This update has some pros and some cons. Also is there a limit to how many nades can be present in a round? Cos you could technically buy loads of he nades and then drop them. So u got like 10 he nades in spawn. Or you could buy 2 of each nade. Or u could buy 3 mollies. Or 3 smokes and just completly shut out a choke point. Ye it’s gonna cost a lot of money but it will shut out a team from 1 site. Put a cap on the amount of nades u can buy. Like u can buy 4 and that’s it. Then after that u can drop them but then u can’t buy anymore so it doesn’t get silly cos u could have 1 guy constantly he nading somewhere.

You can still only buy one molo, HE, smoke and decoy but you could carry over nades to bypass the limitations of only being able to buy one of each type of nade, like HE nades or molos.

All smokes are thrown from different positions so CTs will notice delay between them, same with flashes/molos. You can only use it in a situation when u go normal execute with like 3/4 ppl, u throw nades with a little bit delay so CTs think it's a 1/2 man fake but there is a full team. Yes, there is a limit of how many nades u can buy, they didn't change that. U can buy 1 smoke, 1 molo, 1 nade and not sure about flashes tho. It will be used only when 1 or 2 ppl have shit tons of money and rest of the team barelly can buy a weapon + kevlar. Or when u want to stack one site and leave one guy on another, like on B inferno where u can leave him alone with some utility in safe spot to pick up.
