Barcelona after Messi

They are looking extremely weak right now. Do you think they'll manage to qualify for next season's Champions League?

No fukcing way

imo it might not be possible because barca and real madrid gets way more money than other clubs. maybe the team will struggle some small amount of years as 3rd but will return as a top tier spain club. just remember how barca and real madrid had incredible years with basicly the same roster and focused on two incredible players, now both need time to find good players again.

I have to say Barca is very boring to watch without Messi. They cannot attack at all.

the entire league is boring to watch...probably the least exciting league in the top 10 of the five year ranking

i can't stand the play-acting that goes on in La Liga(and Liga NOS+Serie A), so it's a pretty shitty league to watch for me. unfortunately it is contagious and you see english players rolling around, mobbing the ref and stalling the game too.

You just don't understand, Messi's smell in air is still in the team. That's why Barca plays so bad, it's hard to breathe. Fucking Messi still ruins Barcelona, like Ronaldo still ruins Juventus. Just wait for year-two until it disappears and then Barca will be better than ever!

I think it will take more than a year or two for Barca to recover

I dunno Bartomeu almost killed club by his stupid management. Stupid and expensive transfers, stupid roster decisions, not caring about fans and absolute disrespect to club legends (Messi, Suarez, etc) and much more. This fucking asshole better to not show up at Catalonia or he won't leave it alive, I swear.

more important than "no messi" is "no money"

True. And with Messi leaving they also lost a large part of the earnings. He earned them about 4 times more than they paid him.
2021-09-24 13:14
they need a bit of time to get used to the new formation/playstyle without messi. but im sure they will be back at the top of europe.

They're finacally f0cked, will take a lot of time to recover from that. But after all its one of the biggest names in football history + they have a lot of upcoming talents, so it's not all lost. They have to get their talents into their starting team and make them big names, barely do transfers or just make REAL good transfers like Dortmund did with Haaland and they're back on track in 3-5 years.

Ansu fati and aguero, and its yet to see if aguero doesnt end up leaving on january. Good luck qualifying for UCL this year, rm atleti and sevilla will take 3 places 100% and right now i think villareal or real sociedad have more chances of getting 4th than barca (and i mean it when i say good luck, i honestly like barca and hope they recover) Edit: also braithwate. Up to you if you have faith on him Scoring 20 goals.

kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk name checks out. you arent even the biggest club in Laliga (its real madrid)

It's not just because they lost Messi, they have been on a downward spiral for a long time.

They would've easily beaten these teams with Messi or at least done something. They're absolute trash against teams like Granada and Cadiz

Yea probably but I assume you know what I mean, Barcelona was already weak with Messi, it just got worse when he left.

That’s a fact. The last Manager/Boss of Barca f0cked it all up in like 5 years and now that he‘s gone they have to rebuild the whole club.

Yes, really unlucky for the fans of Barcelona, Bartomeu f*cked up the club badly.

Braithwaite will save them

It's depressing to watch my own club in shambles, i dont even follow the games since a few years back. only scattered matches here and there, and the top games vs Madrid or atletico and champions league. The rest nothing. Until there is more big changes, we're just the titanic, no way up, only going down and sinking even deeper xD
