UBC or Boston imo. But I don't know much about them for poli sci. Wouldnt you want something in DC?

I don't love DC as a city, plus I wouldn't get into Georgetown, and George Washington University is 75k :(

UW Madison campus is crazy, visited myself. Beautiful, highly ranked school. Others no clue

I visited once, like the campus a lot, the city felt a bit small and it is a bit close to home but definitely would be happy going there.

I actually like the size of Madison as a city, plus the dorms are pretty decent. The city still has things to do and places to hang out, but if you're a big city person I'd understand it feeling a bit small. Also saw you mention aid in another post. From what I remember, Madison is pretty expensive. Just another thing to note

My state has a deal with madison for in-state tuition, but madison is def one of my top schools!

You prob know more about poly sci rankings than me, but I will say that I know that University of Minnesota is a great school at least in computer science

I really liked the twin cities when I visited, so I hope I can get some good aid :)

If you're Canadian, the tuition savings alone are worth it since you're not getting into a top US uni anyways. UBC is good if you don't plan on interning, otherwise go for UT or McGill

I liked the UBC campus when I visited, although downtown Vancouver sucks no matter what people say. The cost is a big factor, as I could graduate debt-free and have money for law school.

I did 1 year exchange there, UBC is great but the employment opportunities for art students are almost non-existent. and yeah, DT Vancouver is terrible
2021-09-28 07:18
I don't want to go to McGill for personal reasons, but u of t is definitely a good idea to consider :)
2021-09-28 07:09
none because usa college is a scam unless you do law or medicine

If you have canadian citizenship you can practically go anywhere in europe. Why overpay for a mediocre education when you could get a free one in Denmark/Sweden/Norway/Finland Københavns Universitet is the best.

Also i just wanted to add that i am also going to major in Poli-sci in Denmark and you have the option to go to a Uni that offers Poli-sci in english.
2021-09-28 11:23
Those programs are usually not free for non-EU students like OP

I would go to Leiden, Amsterdam or Vienna. They have top 10 political science programs in English and it's a lot cheaper than NA. Nice places to live too.
