Was Gambit jusy lucky?

Was the run they had at the start kf the year just luck? They seem to have fallen off and also lost their confidence. Also other teams are more confident to play against them. They will only decline even further once most games are played on LAN as they are onliners. I don't think this roster will ever achieve anything at the majors, I mean even the last major win was a fluke.

I think they were better than others at the start of the year but then every team learned how to play against them and gambit didn't know how to improve further))

"Lucky" run of 4 months and 4 tournament wins along with multiple 2nd places

Hence why they were called onliners.

Well it was a lucky run and their honeymoon just like BIG had one last year But they are actually a good team and IMO they will remain in the TOP5-10 for a long time. They will never reach their level from that run, but they can definitely be more consistent than last year's BIG or G2

i def think there was a vaccum due to lack of motivation that let teams like spirit, nip and gambit get a few higher placements due to having more motivation than people that was used to play on lans.

The online period definitely played a role in their dominance but they still played great cs so it would be really shitty to say that they were just lucky.

No i do not think they were just lucky

I honestly think there was some burnout with Gambit when it comes to the drop-off recently. They had been playing t2 and t1 for so long, plus these guys apparently are constantly practicing or playing. But, to say that they were lucky is disrespectful. They were good online and only 1 t1 LAN event to judge them on LAN.
