You're not in a position to open or close discussions, nor do you decide when a debate or argument is concluded. I base my opinions and views on objective facts. I will correct myself a bit tho, he's been at the top of his game _individually_ for +16 years now, even when his teams have faltered. Such consistency is unheard of, especially considering many older pros have heavily declined in skill. Many pros that I watched back then are absolute garbage now, I fully acknowledge that. f0rest doesn't fall into that category as of right now.
Of course T1 LAN tourneys matter the most, no one is denying that. You can't draw conclusions from one tourney though, it's not even close to being an adequate sample size. Do you draw the same conclusions when a T1 team, such as Na`Vi for instance, bombs out of a tourney in the group stage? Of course not, because that doesn't simply make sense. I have no idea why you're not extending the same courtesy to individual players then.
My perfect CS would be a mix of both 1.6 and GO. 1.6 had less restricted movement, which I heavily preferred. Kills were also more satisfying, in GO they just kinda drop dead without proper feedback. GO has the advantage when it comes to utility, shooting mechanics (most of them), basic quality of life features and of course a more blooming pro scene.
Also I agree, living in the past, or the future for that matter is rather dumb. The present is all there is :)
