What Monitor do you have? 144hz or even 240hz? If this is the case watch in the nvidia system settings if the monitor is actually on this hz ratio. Even in Windows Settings there is an option for this. Edit: must do it in both (Nvidia & Windows)

Very good point with multicore rendering but normaly it just lowers your fps if disabled. Don't think he has low fps.

game files are fine and multicore is on, and yea #35 is right. its not that i get low fps, the game just starts stuttering sometimes and that happens on every framerate that im on

Go into the powerplan then Change advanced power settings then set processor power management minimum state 100% and maximum state 100% and test it.

Not even; had frequent stuttering in csgo and valorant despite my pc being good enough to run both at above 100 fps. Look all over for a solution, uninstall, reinstall, etc. One reddit comment with no upvotes telling the mf with similar stuttering issues to lower their polling rate. No fucking way right? I do it. It fucking works. Absolute disbelief.

A while back, there was a thread on reddit or somewhere recommending using cfg that would disable some.. lightning effects while firing or something like that. Helped a bit for me, sadly I can not recall more.

save your config and autoexec if you have one and then delete the 730 folder, and reinstall the game. resets all kinds of pre-set settings and is a good way to fresh install the game. that worked for me when i had frame related issues

you can try 2 things go to search bar next to windows icon type game mode make sure thats set to on or right click windows icon > settings > system > display > graphics settings > put hardware accelerated gpu scheduling to on reboot if you changed any without stating the obvious.. make sure nvidia options is set to performance and you have threaded optimization set to "on" instead of auto, also set scaling to "display" instead of "gpu" cos this causes input delay also

Better scheduling between CPU/GPU/Windows. You should keep it ON, it doesn't make much diffirence, but you have new hardware which should take advantage of this.
2021-10-14 14:21
Most of this tips won't help, and even may make your things worse. CS GO is really weird and sometimes you get stutters on perfectly working computers. I think what you should consider: 1. Install CS GO on SSD if you havn't already 2. Install CHIPSET DRIVERS from AMD site if this doesn't help then: 3. Set High performance power plan in windows 4. Set maximum power (or something like that) in nvidia control panel 5. Turn off other application than CS GO Do you play full screen on native resoultion or scaled? If you play scaled maybe you should try to play on your native resolution to check if this isn't scaling problem. Also don't put into your config shit what people write on reddit, it was helping in CS Source, nowadays default cs go config is way to go if you don't want to have any problems, ofcourse make sure you have turned on multicore rendering. If none of this help i would just wipe your storage and install fresh windows. If this also fails, it maybe something with your BIOS configuration e.g. RAM settings, or just this game is broken as often.

ill go thru that list and see what i end up with. ty
2021-10-14 14:21
I would actually do none of that and just wait for the next patch I often have no fps issues in one patch qnd suddenly the game starts stuttering in the next update. Dunno what's up with that. Also it's a CSGO isolated issue so I would certainly not format drives or tweak bios just for one game.
2021-10-14 14:22
3 replies
You are right, cs go is fucked up and it can solve itself. Formatting the drives is "last resort", however it isn't a big problem for me so i would consider that. Also messing up with BIOS without knowledge is also bad, but i think that CS GO may be sensitive to RAM misconfiguration. Actually what helped me most with my ryzen 3600 + 3060ti was changing motherboard from old Asus B350 Prime to Asus X570-f and tweaking my ram timings. There are always some stutters in CS GO at the beginning of the match, but no issues later into the game.
2021-10-14 14:27
They can't patch their way out of this turd, they need it on a new game engine entirely.

This is probably a problem of steam + windows. Any tips wont help u, u will have lag till valve or windows want to fix lag problems, its sad but thats reality. Welcome to 2021 and games online with lag even u have a NASA pc. People will tell u, check ur pc, its nvidia drivers, power configurations, monitor..bla bla bla, nothing of that its
2021-10-14 17:15
1. Make sure you have -high in your launch options in steam on CS:GO 2. Close Google Drive if you have that on
2021-10-14 14:30
disable hyper v, high time events shit , on bios , etc hpet disabled etc search about this topics, this helps also disable full screen optimizations

2021-10-14 14:36
When you set up 240hz in the settings for the monitor, could you feel a difference between the 60hz default and the 240hz change with your mouse movement on the desktop alone? In other words, is this a problem only occurring in CS? I had this problem in the past, ultimately it came down to having a 240hz and 60hz monitor both being rendered for at the same time, so: If you're running a dual monitor set up, try unplugging your second monitor and make sure you have no other application running in the background. Also, make sure to try a few separate display port cables just to make sure your cable isn't faulty. Good luck, I hope you find a fix!

i dont think its any of that. i recently had to reinstall windows since the drive my windows was on died. so my guess is that im just missing some type of setting that i had before or something... for now im just gonna reinstall drivers and the game and re-do the nvidia control pannel 3D settings and see what that does. i dont think the dual monitor setup causes the issues since i had this setup before running smooth for a couple months. Ty for helping

Dont know if you already did that cause didnt read the whole thread but check if you have correct ram speeds, it changes a lot with ryzen CPUs. After a bios update it resetted mine. But even with perfect setup csgo just doesnt work perfectly.

1. Fresh install of windows 2. Delete cs go userconfig folder If these two don't work then nothing will when it comes to stutters.
