25% of every battle pass purchase goes towards the prize pool.
csgo doesn't do that because they have more than 1 big tournament all year
2021-10-17 18:14
Because CS is not so popular in the Asian segment of the market.
2021-10-17 18:14
because dota 2 is kid friendly game
2021-10-17 18:15
The Battlepass is kinda like the Operation pass in CSGO. Valve just give 25% of the battlepass to the TI. Also csgo has stickers, which SPUNJ once said made a top 8th team at the Berlin major more than 2 million.
2021-10-17 18:15
imagine if valve did the same then maybe csgo wouldnt be dead
2021-10-17 18:18
Because you don't play CS for moneys
2021-10-17 18:19
Dota 2 prizepool is lower than csgo major this year, because its 1.6million and than 25% of battle pass is added, in csgo prize pool is 2million and players and orgs get 25% of sticker money so it split more even between teams instead of 1 team getting the majority
2021-10-17 18:20
because dota2 prizepool formed by crowdfounding
2021-10-17 20:03
valve pockets all the cash from cs go
2021-10-17 20:18
People complaining about prize pools is stupid
2021-10-17 20:28
csgo gives around 20 milion in sticker money, normaly we have 2 majors so the money is comparable and I hear all the time from my friend who is dota fanboy that International is cool and all but it realy isnt healthy for the scene
2021-10-17 20:41
valve dont care about csgo. Gaben actually makes TI appearances
2021-10-17 20:41
cause Valve loves Dota2 more than CSGO =(
