Title. Some of you may remember my last topic about this, got deleted God knows why. Wasnt completely sure if buying a new one or not, but it broke yesterday so this could be the push i needed. Budget: max around 300-350 so they go down to something like 200 in BF.

I’m seriously thinking about downgrading to an old Nokia. I lost my phone for a week recently and I totally didn’t miss it. I finished my book, was faster at work and didn’t spend that much time on hltv haha

Wtf they look great for that price. Why so cheap compared to other options? Reminds me of huawei some years ago.

The 7T is 2019 but still looks very capable for now, and i may get it for around 150€ if lucky. The other looks better but 5g makes it a bit more expensive, still a very fine price and ill consider it. Is there any other oneplus which doesnt have 5g so is a bit cheaper but has specs as good as the nord?

i dont really know but the oneplus 8 might also be a option, its around 350 and i expect you can get it for around 250 on black friday or on sale. if u dont want the 5g i would say oneplus 7T is your best shot

lower profit margins, buying parts from other companies instead of r&d and cutting unnecessary corners (water resistance testing for the certifications phones adds like 60 dollars)

I have just one tip for you. If you want android phone, buy a phone with android that has no custom build in it (I dont know how it is called in english sry). I have xiaomi mi a1 with this basic android and it is working like it was new and it is 3 years old phone. By that I mean that companies like to put their custom builds into the system (xiaomi - MIUI for example) and first - it is annoying (all the xiaomi useless apps that nobody uses) and second - you have android updates the first day they are released because you are not waiting for the companies to update those custom builds and the builds also slow down the phones after some time

Been using EMUI for 5 years with this phone and works flawlessly, my experience with customs isnt as negative as yours.

idk go for something like oneplus or an older flagship

Pixel 4a or similar. Best bang for your buck is probably xiaomi. I am happy with mine, but wish it wouldn't be that huge. Wouldnt recommend spending too much money on a phone. Nowadays even <250 euro phones are pretty good. They last like 4-5 years. No reason to spent big bucks on it.

Yeah, totally agree. Thats the sweetspot for me in phones, around 250-300 without discount. My huawei p10 lite was bought 5 years ago for 240 and it has been a great purchase. Sadly, im starting to have storage issues and as i said i broke screen yesterday :(.

If you can stretch your budget to 399 (not sure about prices in Spain) then go for OnePlus Nord 2. If not, possibly the original Nord. I have seen sales for Nord 1 at 249e here in Finland.

No problem, man. Glad I could be of help. There are a lot of good phones out there in the market, it's pretty much just a matter of getting the most value for your money. And OnePlus has some of the best specs for the price (aswell as xiaomi) and OxygenOS (the UI for OnePlus phones) is also one of the smoothest Android experiences there is. Just keep an eye out for the sales and discounts coz there are bound to be some.
