Idk tbh, i heard it is illegal here and i don’t want no trouble, only want to watch some football. Don’t think it’s illegal in Sweden tbh but who knows. It’s blurry.

yeah well piracy is illegal almost everywhere, but i think only the piracy site/streamer gets in trouble if they get caught because they're sharing copyrighted content, while you are just seeing it might be wrong idk

Incognito has nothing to do with privacy. It's just tool to manage your local browsing history.

Not privacy on the internet but privacy from someone that can see your history!

Cuz... I don't trust the government and stuff. Once I find out something terrible against them, they have the power to create evidences against me through my browser... I don't like being spied, big corporations are so big and corrupt they also don't have my trust Giving my privacy for literal thieves and greedy people would be a nightmare, even tho it happens everyday, i just try to ignore it

don't worry, government and big corporations don't really care about you. And if you discovered something big, for sure you won't be the first one

I care about google giving me biased content like politics and etc. I don't want to know just one side of the coin

yeah that's a point, but if you REALLY wanna know all the facts from different sources, you have to have some previous sites to see it. But let's be honest, most of times we only see one side of the coin

yeah we do and i won't lie. And being honest we know that in Brazil all media is biased so it wont make a difference using a privacy browser or notlol

that's surely what someone from the government would tell me. ofc the government spies everyone, you may try to think "im small, nobody cares about me" but they do, you are also watched

ok, keep believing in this conspiracy theory. I know all my internet data can be access, but do you really think that they wanna know what i'm posting on hltv, what i'm watching on streaming channels or some sh1t like this? hahahaha wake up, that's just ridiculous

Yes. I requested my data Google had on me about a year or so ago. When I got the files I couldn't believe that they had so much. Remember: it's their job to sell all info they can get from me. Since then I tried to be less dependent on the big data companies (and I have a lot to improve).

If concerns like google Facebook and co would pay fair taxes in Europe I wouldn’t care as much as I do
2021-10-19 16:53
No, since i use only youtube, phub, hltv and sometimes steam in browser, i dont google things like how to make a bomb at home or CP videos, so i am fine. I'm pretty sure though that my passport data is floating somewhere on internet, which is a much more serious problem than when someone finds out which sites I visit and what porn I watch, so i dont car. Also #33 I do pirate games and movies, but government dont give a shit about it lol, I don't know who you have to be in Russia to get jailed for downloading pirated content
2021-10-19 16:59
Yes I do. I don't use social media and try to avoid all Google and Facebook services. Those who answer, "No because I have nothing to hide" have completely misunderstood why privacy online matters.

So a very brief summary is that a profile created from all data collected about every individual. This profile has a better understanding of you who you are as a person than you yourself or your family and friends have about you. This profile is then sold to the highest bidder who then physiologically manipulates you to into either buying a product, believing false information and even pushing you towards voting for a specific political party and therefore corrupting the foundation of any democracy. Just to be clear this is not speculation or a theory this has all already happened. Most social media applications are just data miners, with a small social media function. Personal data is worth more than oil, wars have been fought over oil so I don't see any laws government intervention doing anything to stop it, it is totally up to the consumer to protect their personal data.

Ah i see. Thankyou for your explanation i appreciate it friend. Yes I think the alghoritm of youtube and google accomodates its contents to base it on my interests.

Yes the algorithm will give you search results or recommendations based on your profile, however it can not tell the difference between the truth and lies. I personally believe this is the cause of the huge divide in people politically these days, the left and right really really hate each other and want to destroy each other which wasn't really the case before social media, at least not with "normal" people. If you are constantly being bombarded with news and information from your own side of the argument you will never grow or never be challenged adding information which is false and taking it as truth will complicate things ever more.

I use a vpn all the time except for when I use hltv because the mods hate privacy
