Are AirPods worth it for an android user? Are alternatives better? Share your experience.

Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
Well the only thing is you can't see how much battery is left.. so if you don't care they are good. If like a lot of base, you should probably get like Galaxy Buds Pro or something like that.

Wait for real? There's no way to check the battery level?

You can check it in the Bluetooth menu on your phone, in the case there‘s just a little indicator light

I don’t know about Android tbh, though I think it should work as it isn’t designed to look like a signature apple feature in iOS
2021-10-22 00:50
love mine tbh, never had any issues with them, batterly life is really solid, connects instantly, good features to skip songs with tapping on ear, perfect for running.

for what you actually get they indeed are expensive

Galaxy Buds gets your similar sound quality to normal AirPods and has app where you can change modes that might make the experience slightly better.

they are also a lot cheaper, i will take a look

Yeah they are, but they also have different versions like plus, live and pro. I only have the normal ones, so I don't know about those one. But by looking at pretty much every test they say that normal Buds are almost identical to AirPods in terms of sound quality (maybe even slightly better). Not the best sound quality, but its still decent.

+1 I bought the Buds + a few weeks ago and they're pog pog
2021-10-21 20:34
if you have a samsung, just get some galaxy buds
2021-10-21 20:34
I have sony wf xm3 and they're dope. Really good active noise cancelling, only disadvantage is that some gesture trigger functions like taking one of them off your ear automatically stop the other. like fr bro I want to ride my bike and listen to only one piece, whats your problem lmao solid 8.5/10 tho, go get em

there's also the xm4 there's not much diff in sound I guess, but 4's look much big and heavy and are less elegant. they're water resistant or smth but who gives a shit about that
2021-10-21 20:35
they are really good but pretty meh with android

Galaxy Buds 2. Same features as the airpods pro, smaller, and more colours. Only thing i like about the pro is that they have a stronger ANC but at the same time its like double the price

ty guys bought the galaxy buds i.gyazo.com/feb192d7b44fa2c1b689ae5f95a5..
2021-10-21 20:41
If you're an Android user, galaxy buds pro is pretty much the best possible deal, in almost every metric, objectively.
2021-10-21 20:44
sounds quality wise, not hype wise, yes.
2021-10-21 20:45
Most air pod variants these days are good, even a $15 pair I bought from Xiaomi are fantastic for what I need, the biggest downside you might find on cheaper pods are gaming sound latency.

bruh, raycons is really cheap rebranded alibaba garbage Their bass is way over the top, frequency curve is awful.
2021-10-21 21:02
I got some ones off Amazon called "Earfun Air" Dodgy name aside I was actually shocked by how good they are. They've got pretty much every feature I'd want except ANC (but I don't really care about ANC) and the sound quality is pretty good. Definitely the best £40 I've ever spent. If I want to truly appreciate some music I'll do it over wired, for wireless earbuds I could never justify the cost of high end ones.

Huawei freebud 4 is good alternative for penstyle buds Oneplus penstyle buds is decent for the price Jaybird vista v1 or v2 is really good if you dont want penstyle, Negatives is ear will get tired at first because the sharkfin and Jaybird app sucks ass, but overall really good alternative
2021-10-21 21:07

2021-10-21 21:08

yes but you should try getting 2nd hand ones if you want to save some cash
2021-10-21 21:40
If you already have airpods then they will work fine, if you are planning to buy new wireless headphones then just look around for cheaper options with similar quality.
2021-10-21 21:40
I have AirPods and a Samsung, works fine. Double tapping stops/starts the songs, instead of skipping them, otherwise they work perfect
