Europe future in LoL after MadLions quarters exit
Tense |
Mexico Biggest_Bigg_Fan
They showed a lot of potential and something similar may happen to them to what happened to Damwon after quarters exit against G2, they may recover a lot stronger and be a title contender next year, considering FPX and G2 way to finals in 2019, both teams were very close, the only thing that made G2 get swept was pressure that was on them to win the first title for Europe in 8 years, I think Mad wont have that pressure anymore as theyve seen Fnatic and G2 go down to the chinese superteams that didnt show up this year, I really think Mad has potential to win worlds next year

well who says all players in the roster will stay? Im pretty sure carzzy has hinted on looking for a switchup... A bunch of stuff will happen in off season this year, Rekkles seems to be hinted to be free market, as is Wunder. Nothing can be sure lol (and win worlds, probably not... if its any LEC teams, its G2 or FNC)

Caps miky jankos core is not enough to win LEC, they need a lot of improvement

sure but G2 and FNC are probably the only 2 teams (for now) who have a chance of beating chinese/korean teams... Regardless of players

If Perkz stayed in Europe the team who had him would go to semis at least, hes way better than any EU mid/adc

Idk if making it to Worlds playins is an achievement if teams that go 0-6 in groups make it out of playins, its like saying its a huge achievement to qualify for FIFA World Cup from Asia and lose all games

Keep dreaming. LCK & LPL only regions that are actual Trophy contenders.

Check how FPX and G2 got to the finals, beating teams of similar strength all scores 3-1, final was expected to be 3-2 for G2 by most

Yes and ENCE made it to Major Finals doesn't mean ENCE is a trophy contender. Its called Fluke.

At the time they deffenetely where a trophy contender only teams that I felt like could beat ENCE then where Renegades, Vitality and Liquid

You certainly forgot plenty of names but I still disagree that they were a trophy contender team.

carzzy not good enough, armut small champ pool, elyoya a bit shaky at worlds. it's looking a little grim for the west at the moment since there no longer is the G2 factor.

Perkz was holding G2 as a whole, he was the IGL and hard carry, G2 looks like its gonna go down only

The asians have no better players .... eu players are retarded 70 iq inters ... rcalling in the middle of the map and die and so on ... so they diserve to lose to average asians

no ... lpl eu are much worst this year than in the past ... they made dk look good ... mad chould ez won g1 and g3 ... at 1-1 the game becomes diferent ... but at 2-0 after masive throw they just piked some troll champs and inted g3 from the start because mental boom... and T1 will smash DK into the ground to put this dk deluded fans down ... kekw

Nothing wrong with accepting some cultures and peoples are better at some things than others. No need for racism.
2021-10-24 17:55
Mad has good players, but as long as Armut doesn't broaden his champion pool and their macro doesn't improve dramatically, they will never come close to winning worlds. You can't win internationally just with teamfighting your way out

dogshit players .... gnar 1trick cant land a E=Q on jayce from 2mm away and autist inter jg/mid .... r-calling in the middle of the map get killed and let the team 4v5 at drake/baron ... subhunanoid kekw also ... never banned lee kekw
2021-10-24 17:42
They will most likely have to find someone to replace Carzzy and he seems to be their main shotcaller (?), so yeah. Also I don't think MAD can do it even next year. Asian teams are just able to get so much good practice playing against each other all the time. While you don't have many crazy good teams in EU. Hopefully G2 gets their shit together with huge roster changes, same with Fnatic and then they can finally have decent teams to pracc against and the region lvl gets higher.
2021-10-24 17:50
Riot's tournament structure is so crap, if they had more international tourneys maybe LCS/LEC would have some competitive teams instead of having to depend on clown fiestas from LPL/LCK teams to do anything

That's a poor excuse, if korean and chinese teams get good by themselves, european teams should also be able to. G2 and fnatic have shown in the past that it's possible

Your reasoning is too surface level and dumb. Chinese teams got better because they buy the best Koreans and have 10000 times more players than any other region. Korea gets better because their competition is 10 times better than any other region except China. You can see it in CSGO as well, Liquid and Furia look10 times worse after they returned to EU from NA.

And your reasoning literally is "korea gets better because they are better". Why are they better? There is no esports gene. Of course strong competition is beneficial, but a region with the massive playerbase of EU should be able to create its own good competition.

> "korea gets better because they are better" Because that's how it works lol? Literally compare it to any other sport or esport or whatever lmao. Good teams get better by playing other good teams. Who knew? > but a region with the massive playerbase of EU should be able to create its own good competition. That's what is happening though, at least 1/8 quarterfinalists is from EU every year despite NA poaching their best players. However, they're never going to win shit if they don't practice against better opponents form LPL/LCK
