yeah 1,2 million is small number in 2021 for esports. Also its the last time it had such a number. CS major this year is still to come, its the only tournament with crowd like this. It will be far more than 1,2 million
its defently not (small) the all time record of cs is 1.18 mio. and you have to keep in mind its not the biggest vallorant event. cs is there for 10 years so. The valorant record was like 2 month ago so its very recent and it will be beaten at the world cup coming next
Actually very nice. Considering the people were at work or sleeping after night shift like me. And its still challenger stage. It will have playoffs with crowd in sold out ericsson globe though. The only esport event this year with no crowd restrictions
that is insane, but I don't expect these numbers to remain for the rest of the group stages, day 1 hype is real, then these kinds of numbers will start to pick back up again (and go higher) after playoffs start.
something is off anyway, official twitch stream used to have like 150-200k viewers in these matches, how is it reaching 600k? where those viewers are coming from? it's not like there are other plataforms more popular than twitch
Considering this is only challenger matches too. Just change the viewmodel please.
Imagine if China didn’t ban twitch. Viewership would be nuts. Liquid vs Navi in a final with be easily 2 million viewers.
