As a fan, very happy to see how it’s been going since the first three games of the season)) I think that top 4 looks more and more realistic considering the current state of Tottenham and United, but to be fair I might just be delusional)) Thoughts?

I'm not an Arsenal fan but for the 10 minutes I watched those 3 were the main outstanding ones to me
2021-10-30 15:52
ramsdale man of the match, should also displace pickford before the wc but the real dealbreaker has been gabriel+esr
2021-10-30 15:35
Ramsdale has really taken us, to the next level. He is out of this world
2021-10-30 15:28
they finally look like a team, even as someone who doesnt like arsenal its nice to see them do better, their fans suffer every season.

tbh yeah delusional. I think as soon as Ole gets booted out you will see Man U playing a starting 11 that makes sense and looks more cohesive and they will secure top4. I hope to god Man U just lose their next game so there is no more fucking around and Ole just gets instantly fired.

I don't get why the club keeps putting faith in such a failure of a coach. Doesn't have the trust of the players or the fans, picking Fred and Greenwood over van de Beek and Sancho the guy has some screws loose. Loved the 0-5 washing by Liverpool it just exposed how strategically dogshit his plan actually is.
2021-10-30 15:32
he gone if he doesnt get a good result against spurs
2021-10-30 15:34
I agree that United should be clearly in the top four ahead of Arsenal, but thanks to the fact that they are sticking with Ole for too long it gives small chances of beating them to fourth. I think that it will also take time for a new manager to find the optimal starting lineup, and it’s not obvious what it looks like atm. But yes, probably United will and definitely should be finishing top 4

Arsenal will beat this utd team tbh, West Ham is the only team that can compete top 4 with Arsenal
2021-10-30 15:39
Haven't watched any Arsenal lately so can't really speak on them tbh but if they are in form yeah they can probably beat this out of form Man U, I just don't see the United dip lasting much longer than a month or 2. I'm honestly optimistic that Ole will be out within a week or 2/3 and after that they should find some consistency fairly quickly when (probably) Conte comes in and actually takes control of this group of players.

Conte wont come, he wants full control on transfer activities and he will not get it in Man Utd They are targeting Erik ten Hag from Ajax
2021-10-30 15:45

Well Erik won't leave before the end of the season but he would be a great fit as well. I still think they can work something out with Conte tho might not be full control of transfer activities but there is no way he is that stubborn when they are able to meet him in the middle and give the green light on players he wants

Could also work well yeah, he will definitely have more resprect from day 1 than Ole ever got from his players.

i didn't expected ramsdale to be such a good keeper! i am glad to see arsenal in this form! hope they get top 4 this year
2021-10-30 15:30
Been a fan of Arsenal since I was young, Fredrik Ljungberg a big reason ofc. Last few years have been horrible and this year I've barely watched the games. Arsenal has a no-winning culture. Hard to get out of, esp since they dont want to spend money in todays insane football climate.

They were the top spenders this season if I am not mistaken ? :> Edit: just checked, they were indeed.

Depends on how you see, but yes. They spend a lot in smaller numbers (say 4-7 players for 150-300m each) but also make a lot from reselling. Never any big names.

Fair enough, it definitely used to be the case. Not so much in recent years though. Of course they generally haven't spent PSG, City, United money. So if that is the spending u mean then, generally, sure.. Ironically Arsenal were doing better in Wengers' last years, when it was more true than now, of course the results were on a downward trajectory before he left.
2021-10-30 16:08
I think top 4 is pushing it but I think Europe is a safe bet as long as they stay competent. Remember that United have talent - they are unlikely to stay this poor all season, manager or form will change for them at some point

Yeah I do think that depending on how long Ole lasts Man Utd obviously has to be the favorites. Their squad is much better and we should have no business in competing for anything higher than 5th. Just hoping that Ole would last at least up to when they play Arsenal))

I think everyone is hoping Ole stays aside from United fans since they're basically a sleeper team right now I wouldn't write out West Ham for Europe either. The 'Top 6' has very quickly become a Top 3 with 6 or 7 contending for Europe so It's definitely interesting to watch as an outsider with no dog in the fight. 0-2 away at Leicester is a big win though
2021-10-30 15:37
unai emery "TRUST THE PROCCESS" project work damn. but still MAN U WILL WINNING CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AFTER OLE SACKED AND UNBEATABLE ( unless they meet PSG without Messi )
2021-10-30 15:31
ya the new keeper and smith rowe plays very well
2021-10-30 15:31
Listen, Arsenal might not thank me but get the contract out, put it on the table. Let him (Arteta) sign it, let him write whatever numbers he wants to put on there given what he's done now since he's come in. Let him sign the contract and go. We've got our Arsenal back. Arteta's at the wheel.

2021-10-30 15:40
as long as we stay somewhat consistent and win nearly all our home games with players keeping in form, we have a shout but arteta has not been consistent as much as he should. Liverpool will be a real telling point because if we get slapped up by them i dont have hope

I fully expect a 0/6 this season vs city pool and Chelsea. But losing those doesnt mean we can't get Europa. Exciting times. Europa this season and ucl maybe next.

I'm an Arsenal fan but no, we won't fight for top 4. Europa league is our aim this season. Also the Rammers. He's knocking at Pickford's door. He's an absolute unit, some elite signing. Not only by performances but imagine his worth tripling now close to 100m ffs. youtube.com/watch?v=LTtCD0aeBb4 Keep in mind, the youngest team in the league!
