I think amanek is horrible and definitely the wrong option for g2, so we dont have to argue about this
at the same time I totally disagree on afro being an "upcomer"
he has been playing cs for 2 years now on a VERY uncompetitive professional level. the first year he didnt even once have a rating above 1.0. the second year he is mediocre at best on an average team in tier 4-5... how would anything qualify this guy to make the jump to tier 1 lmfao there are literally 100 players I would rather pick before him

yea, especially on mirage and d2, he looked like a support/assist player rather than a primary awper who shd be active on rotation.
Maybe now he can flourish with G2, but i think he wont come back and seeing NiKo+Kennys wd be a dream for some fans now.

yep it ain't gonna happen, he may play cs professionally with any other team but not with G2, his ego will never let him play again with the team which benched him,
and also he has played as a star player and now if he plays with G2 he will have to support niko like amanek does in rounds when he doesnt play awp and kennys cant play support as good as amanek does.

Inconsistent like all the other regional players.
Nexa talked about it in a Serbian interview.
He said how regional players and teams have a bad mentality thing where they think too much about their scores and stats and keep shuffling rosters and keep having high highs and low lows without consistency. Other veteran players talked about how our teams arent disciplined enough and cant supress their emotions. They would play for 4 months and then kick a player with the statistically worst score instead of trying things out for a year for example.
Impulse is kinda getting older but dragon could work well if he would get a chance in a bigger team like G2 since the team has a structure and veteran players by this point which rookies need if they want to get consistently good fast. They definitely shouldnt get Dragon as it would be a big gamble but im just giving an example.

Honestly, they should try a star AWPer from Tier2 (deko, torszi, m0nesy, Nicodooz, etc). Very young and very talented. Unless they get a chance, how can they be Tier1?

there's this French guy called KennyS, pretty unknown but he would make a good fit to the team

Even if they get a good awper man, this NAVI team is hard to beat, they are on fire, so many players than can make a crazy play each round. They are absolute monsters. Maybe Zywoo for G2 but it would be expensive as hell, I don't think they are willing to spend that much money and lets be honest, there aren't many awpers that can make enough difference to beat NAVI.
poizon might be a good fit if they sell/bench Jackz, as he has proven to be a pretty good entry on T sides. The problem, that I see is his work ethic - it was reported that he doesn't like to work on his game, tactics and strategies outside of officials and team practice.

Long time before next major. Get a rookie now that is super hungry to win. give him the experience to play with the upcoming LAN tournaments.
Wich org would you rather go to? Mouz? a tier2-3 team or G2nd place @ Major?
If Torzsi gets the opportunity im sure he will go to G2. Otherwise he is pretty damn stupid.

Cerq is out of motivation because he is stuck with EG a team that seems to have no motivation to play. Cerq motivation will go from 0-101 the instant he gets offer from G2.

G2 tried playing with KennyS as an AWPer and it didn't workout so great. They need someone younger and more hungry to win like Torzsi.

If something needs to change in g2, i would still keep amanek as the main awper, and get misutaa for example as the more entry type, if not put amanek back to the more supportive role, and get the type of player broky is as the main awper. G2 and faze is and has been a very difficult lineup to fix these past years, not gonna lie.
