if you go to regions of big cities such as São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, you are at risk of being mugged. But the cities in the South are wonderful and have the best Human Development Index in the world. Examples of cities to visit: Curitiba, Florianópolis, Balneário Camboriu, Blumenau, Pomerode, among others... these regions have beautiful women

I don't think Brasília is a city for tourism, cities in the interior of Minas Gerais or São Paulo or some cities in the South are very good for tourism and very beautiful. I live in the capital of Minas Gerais and there are a lot of good things here. I say this because I have family in Rio and I don't think it's a pleasant place to visit.

Thanks, i liked Rio ofc cuz of the weather and stuff compared to my country But i would say that i liked the more "brazilian" part like Salvador. Rio just feels like too much tourism and i want explore the "real deal". Not sit in hotel or on copacabana xd
2021-11-09 19:13
Florianópolis is a great place to visit but it is a beach as well. Also, there are places kinda far from cities you can go, but since Brazil is so big, you need to plan things near the place where you are staying. Brasilia sucks balls

I would really really recommend: 1) the city of Gramado, in Rio Grande do Sul (extreme south of the country), resembles some Nordic cities (or at least what we have as a stereotypical view of what Nordic cities look like) with a Brazilian touch, lots of chocolate there, very cool city. 2) Florianopolis, aka Floripa, (also in the south), very cool too. 3) some cities in the interior of Minas Gerais (as the other dude said). Tiradentes is very cool. You can see really cool (actually you may find it either really interesting or really boring, tbh) historical stuff there. 4) In the interior of Goias you can find some cool resorts with thermal water. If you go to those parts of the country you gonna have experienced virtually every face of Brazilian culture. I don't recommend Brasilia. It's just boring. Nothing remarkably cool there. I mean, there's the Congresso Nacional, the Palacio do Planalto, Palacio da Alvorada, and some other interesting stuff with cool architecture from Oscar Niemeyer, but I don't think it is worth it, you wouldn't find enough things to do there to fulfill a whole day.

Dont go to Brasilia if you love your life bro, kidding. But seriously, Brasilia is boring. Maybe Gramado or Canela, its like an EU city in Brazil. Or if you want something more different, you can go to Florianópolis, Foz do Iguaçu, etc. Have a nice day :)

it's got more a European style, largely because of the many European immigrants that went there. imo it's more a reminding of a european culture, so someone from there may be more comfortable.

many european immigrants went to Brazil too. Way more than to Argentina. What happens is that Brazil also has more influence from more countries both in Europe and outside of Europe (especially from Africa), while Argentina is just Spain + 2 or 3 germans + 1 dude from that country + 1 from another (figuratively speaking).
2021-11-09 20:56
but the point of travelling isn't also to know different cultures? And depending on where you go in Brazil, most of the people are decendents of European immigrants like in Santa Catarina or Rio Grande do Sul

How is the economic situation in Brasil? Do you have a big industry sector somewhere? Do you have a relevant IT sector? Are there opportunities for capable and ambitious people? There's so much stigma surrounding Brasil and i'm always wondering how it actually is in there, i hear your president supports the right to bear arms and does not impose the green pass, and for me that's high praise.

We have the Industrial Pole of Manaus at the city of Manaus that produces all kinds of stuff. We do have a decent IT sector (not the strongest, but still strong), with a spotlight at the banking and finance sector. Depends a lot on your acquisitive power. If you were born poor you'll face many difficulties, and the government is an enemy. Also, some parts of our culture may influence those capable and ambitious ppl and take them on the wrong path. e.g.: in the favelas, many kids are influenced to become criminals and to involve with drugs. And outside of the favelas, even in the rich and in the very rich part, pretending to be/playing a badass criminal from the favelas has become a thing. This makes many of the ppl who could be shining stars become mediocre and even dumb.

We are a very cheerful and receptive people. When there was the Soccer World Cup in 2014(F Brazil) many of us tried to learn basic words to help tourists and trade if necessary. I was at school myself and all we did in English classes was thinking about helping people who came from abroad and eventually leaving home and living in another country. Today I am in Germany at a car manufacturer. :)

Awesome man, glad to hear you had a great time! If you want tips to where to go next, here are a couple of tips: - Iguazu Falls. This is the largest natural waterfall in the world, one of the 7 natural beauties of the world. Definitely you have to go there! I took my wife there, she's form the US and she loved it. - Gramado, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Also beautiful little city, focused on tourism, but with a lot of natural beauty, and a gorgeous city. - Florianopolis, in the state of Santa Catarina. Known as the island of magic, it's really that. Magical island with a lot of beautiful beaches and things to do. - Recife, is also a beautiful beach city in the north of brazil

be careful around here, don't go to distant places or go for a walk on the beach at night and be careful not to drink any sleeping pills, the bandits think that all tourists carry a lot of money, but women and beaches make up for it, hug
