why NaVi winning wont matter
kennyS |
India HardyTrison
because vita/astra gonna be playin the matches back 2 back wtf blast, on point everything but what's this scheduling don't @ me NaVi fans, ya'll had the same thing to say when NaVi (after a bo3 with G2 ) lost to Gambit in Blast Spring Finals I remember how ya'll slaughtered HLTV with the "unfair scheduling" thing

That's the punishment that lower bracket is getting, don't you understand ? Navi didn't lose a single BO3 and this is why they get extra rest

still, doesn't makes sense to burn out the losing team, give them a veto advantage or something but this pretty shit

No, it's absolutely deserved. That's how it always been, coming back from lower bracket should be hard.

Not gonna try to prove you're wrong cuz you're absolutely right, but probably when NaVi would have to play 2 games at the same day you'll be crying like OP

Na'Vi will drop the match in the final after reading this topic.
2021-11-28 15:17
veto advantage will mean nothing unless you let the team from upper bracket pick all the 3 maps.
2021-11-28 15:17
the upper bracket team should def get a bonus, but making the better team play the weaker team in a worse condition just makes for a more boring final, doesn't it?
2021-11-28 15:16

It isn't always the case. If you take the example of the Global Final 2020 (that took place in 2021), NAVI won it while coming from the lower bracket; they beat Vitality (coincidentally enough) and one hour later, faced Astralis and won. Some teams get a boost from playing back-to-back while others don't.
2021-11-28 16:06
yes true.. and it might make them warm up and fix mistake it s not really a disadvantage

+1, didn't hear them in january 2021, when navi had to compete with them right after they ve played a full series vs vitality, and have a full run of lower bracket. yet navi still won
2021-11-28 15:57
thats the punishment of double elim bracket, if this was single elim bracket astralis would be home already
2021-11-28 15:17
I remember the time Na'Vi also played semi final and final in the same day against Vita and then Astralis actually xd They won both games pretty comfortably, so it's not so bad as you think

hello? that was the exact same way that navi won global final in 2020 new kid they played a bo3 vs vita and easily won vs astralis 2-0 stop writing
2021-11-28 15:18
why wasn't this thread created yesterday around Heroic ? People are so salty with Na'Vi saying there was no competition this year , fluke major etc .... They didn't lose a single bo3 this event so it's their right to have this privilage

also Heroic and Astralis dropped into lowers at the same time. Astralis get a days break but Heroic play 2 matches same day despite losing to the hardest team initially... ofc no complaints from Astra fans then aye...

what a trash bait. Who cares about time when you're crying about exactly the same scheduling, but actually it's not such a problem to win the game since a lot of teams did it. Also no one asked Astralis and Vitality to lose in the upper bracket. Just ask jon e to delete this thread, it's embarrassing /closed

you are right. it was even worse for navi. had to do a full run of lower brackets, play consolidation and grand final on the same day and still won. Get the fuck out of here. #54, so having a 6 month old result is fine? you are just delusional, you are just like the fanboys.
2021-11-28 15:59
That was vs Gambit lol. Do not tell me that this VItality or Astralis is as strong as that Gambit was in the summer online.

A great Team needs to be able to play two Bo3 back to back and still come out on top, and many teams have done so historically, if I remember correctly then some even did it with a Bo3 semi and a Bo5 Final. It won’t take away from Navi winning, but at most prove the greatness of Vita/Astralis if they manage to upset Navi
2021-11-28 15:22

NaVi won Bo3 vs spirit and Bo5 (4 maps) vs Gambit in a single day in RMR. Ignore astralis fan boys. All they can hope for is that their crowd cheat and help Astralis big time in the final, even then they'll be thrashed lol
2021-11-28 15:59

I’m actually an Astralis fan myself, but I know that if Navi wins today it’s because they were the better team and not because Astralis or Vitality were exhausted from one previous Bo3

2021-11-28 15:47
*bad schedule* COPIUM
2021-11-28 15:49
i agree semi and final in same day is a dumb format. Although in this case u cant really use it as an excuse since navi are 2 heads above their opponents anyways unless something goes very wrong tonight
2021-11-28 15:50
dont loose any game in the tournament and you will have 1 match per day. dont be a looser )) NAVI should have an advantage because they are winning every game
2021-11-28 15:50
its called double bracket? it is so that the team in the upper bracket has a small advantage
2021-11-28 15:55
Excuses. Lol. No team can beat Na`Vi right now under any circumstances, lol.
2021-11-28 15:57
Good teams don't care about 2 matches per day hltv.org/events/5206/blast-premier-globa..
