No. But i think isn't dangerous, i heard once that complications is very rare. But why do you want to remove your glasses? Men with glasses are so cute...

My point being it shouldn't matter on HLTV, we are known throughout by our usernames only, not by what we look like.

As far as I’ve heard from other people the risk of something happening is extremely low and the result after the surgery is great.

Yep, I had FS-LASIK at 29. Definitely worth it. If you've had contacts before it'll probably be easier, since you're used to things poking around in your eye. The operation itself is a bit weird, but doesn't hurt. The following day can be quite bad though. It didn't hurt much for me, but your eyes get filled with tears and you're not allowed to touch them. So you have to wipe the tears up as they fall off your face. Very annoying. Now almost two years later, I still have perfect vision. Initially I noticed that street lights had weird optical effects around them in the dark. I'm not sure if that disappeared or if I just got used to it.

Never used contacts so it will probably be weird. i heard that first 2days are a bitch. idk how i will even pass the time kekw. i read somewhere that halos around lights are normal in the start but should go away after a lil while.

I've known a couple of people who have had it done and they said that aside from the extremely expensive price tag, it was definitely worth their while. :) Is it for both eyes or just one eye, friend? EDIT: Typographical error.

it costs less than $300 for both eyes from good doc. Not that expensive for an eye surgery. both eyes .

It's something like 300 pound per eye in the UK, but given the operation and what is involved, it isn't going to be cheap to cure your eyesight. :D
2021-11-30 18:43
A friend of mine had it done and I got to watch the procedure. It convinced me to never have it done to myself, having my lens cut open and the pressure they put on your eye all seem really unpleasant. Plus, it was like $5k. It worked perfectly though, he really hated wearing glasses and has great vision without them now.

i don't mind the procedure as i have a lot of close people who done it it's like 15 mins and your eyes are numb from drugs. it will cost me like $250 here lol. so it seems i should go for it, thanks bro!

Yeah, definitely if you feel okay with the procedure and can get it done for that cheap I can understand going for it.

Totally agree. It wasn't covered by insurance either, as it is considered a cosmetic surgery. Going for yearly checkups and getting glasses is actually cheaper in the long run because some businesses will cover vision insurance.

I have also a question. Did anyone who has a problem with dry eyes tried lasik / other variant?
