I think because : Almost nothing is dubbed here besides kids cartoons, all the movies and TV series are in English unless they're Swedish made. We start learning English in school earlier than a lot of countries. Also probably have more English classes than for example frenchmen.

Its the same in Portugal, every movie or tv series are in english and we get used to, but with that we kinda get the american accent most of the time.

The fact that their language is closely related to English probably helps a lot with that. I've read in multiple articles that swedish is one of the easiest languages to master for native english speakers and vice versa.

In Hungary we have fucking everything dubbed in the tv and in cinemas as well. Back in the day the quality of Hungarian dubs were world class but now is just as shitty as everywhere else and young people are starting to reject watching dubbed movies and series. For me, I generally watch everything with original audio if possible but for some reason sitcoms are the only ones I always watch with dubs and I think it's kind of nice to have the choice of watching something with dubs even if I almost never take that choice.

Because we start learning the language early and throught our entire schooling. We also take the classes seriously because it is a very useful skill.. Also our entertainment industry isnt very big so we consume English forms of entertainment daily.

Yeah I think so, my fathers generation for example is not nearly as good at english as we are. We were pretty early here with internet too i guess and if you played online you often had to talk english(atleast in games i played). You also start learning it early, from like 10 years old so shows like simpsons and fresh prince in bel air was huge here when i was a kid and it didnt get voice acting like in spain/germany etc so thats why people from my generation learned faster than others i think. Im sure things have changed much now with internet tho and alot of others are jus as good now
2021-11-30 17:19
Is that the reason why Sweden is so cucked? You guys consume only American entertainment (mainly Netflix) and then the lgbt propaganda penetrate your brains and make your actions, let's say, bizarre?

There is no reason. There is simply you cherrypicking what stories (if we can call them that..) and media (if we can even call it that) about Sweden you consume. Being branwashed like a puppet. But if you want to talk about American media influence then yes it is probably the biggest cause to social issues that plagues the world now. That we, you and everyone else didnt know they had until America started screaming their fucking lungs out, trying to convice the rest of the world about them, therefor creating them in the process. We in Sweden se the ridiculous arguments and issues they create and just like you we laugh about it.

l hope you are right... but maybe Sweden is totally the way i think it is and you're blinded by your social circle and live in denial? Theres a chance right?
2021-11-30 23:09
1 reply
Your still egging it on, why do you want that notion to be true so badly? What you said could have a minuscule chance of being true under different circumstances, like me being 15 years old.. Im not, I've lived long enough to se that me and my different social circles I've had during my life are NOT the different ones. These cucked people you blindly want to find, more of them exist in Germany then Sweden by far. Your larger scale population makes that a garantee. These people exist for sure, everywhere. It doesnt bother me. To each their own, they dont bother me and I dont bother them. When it becomes a problem is when we (for example you and me) are forced to do or think the same as them. That is what Americans are experts on, they cant just live and let live. They love forcing shit upon people. Im not having that. Never will.
2021-12-01 16:48
Well you're not far from the truth, lets say like this there's a reason why Sweden is called little america
2021-12-01 17:01

we learn english since 3rd grade, when we are 8. nothing is dubbed and alot of websites, services popuklar in sweden are in english. youtube is huge and have basically replaced tv for most of everyone under 20. borrowing words and metaphors from english is alot easier. early internet and alot of tie mspent online i remember playing minecraft in neglish and whenever i would pick up a block in my hand a small text would appear above the inventory bar like "wooden planks" or "furnace" and i used those words primary school essays

Swedish english is the worst accent for me, even rällienglis i veri funni sounding despite being so twisted, but strong swedish accent tends to tilt me. French comes 2nd but it's slightly funnier sounding like finglish sounds like compared to the swedish accent. I speak swedish myself too but here in Finland where I live we have a faster kind of prononciation of vocals and j-sound is more hard, swedes have such a soft prononciation to certain letters. Danes tends to have the "easiest" english to listen to if comparing by average among nordic countries which is funny because danish sounds so "odd" for us that understands norwegian/swedish for example.
