im looking to buy a new pc with a i7 and a 3060 in 2023 when im able to, so all i can recommend to you is to get a better pc or at least better cpu. Check thermal paste as well, although this is not that important unless your heating is too high

yeah its annoying, i didnt know much about pc's when i bought mine, nor did i have too much experience. I didnt really care about the cpu so i just wanted a decent gpu, now that i look back i realized that i need both a good gpu and a good cpu. TLDR: I should have gotten a pc with a better cpu not just a good gpu

overclocking can help BUT if you don't know the concept or don't have the proper cooling don't mess with it otherwise just buying a new cpu

Stealing your thread: how much performance will I recover if I change the thermal paste of my cpu (3-4years old)?

unless your temperatures are way off, probably won't change anything

intel T cpus are low power/perfromance cpus, so you're cpu is a bottleneck.
