he had a rating of 1.11 in the online era, it was a rating that puts him on the side of ax1le, hobbit and electronic, but with the addition of his performance in Major (he played better than Hobbit and Ax1le at Major), he earned that position.

Hobbit has 1.20 ax1le has 1.18 they both have 2 MVPs How does b1t outrank them based on 1 tournament?

why separate from the rest of the other events, the most important event of the year? it doesn't make sense to rank well players who were goods over the course of the year (including having an online era) and in the Major to have better ones

if whoever organizes the rank knows how to measure the importance of the championships that had in the middle of the pandemic, it is completely fair that B1T be Top 10
2021-12-03 06:38
I get your point, but think from the other perspective so lets say that top 7 players are (maybe order is not like this): 1. S1mple 2. Zywoo 3. Sh1ro 4. Hobb1t 5. Ax1le/Niko 6. Niko/Ax1le 7. electronic then we are left with 3 spots to fill up the top 10. so for 8th, 9th and 10th spot what contenders do we have: - YEKINDAR - Device (also has an MVP) - Jame (he has 1 MVP, but also low impact rating so not sure) - b1t (lower rating in the beginning part of the year, but good rating at the last couple of events, especially LAN events) - NAF, ELIGE and Ropz could have a spot if they played more maps at the big events, more playoffs maps. These players might enter top 15-20 ish (especially ropz) - blameF could enter if Astralis does good at the last 2 events and also he has good performance - hunter that's it the most promising for the 8th and 9th spots are device and yekindar. for the 10th spot, b1t has a good chance. As there are not that many contenders for 10th spot IF b1t gets the MVP for blast global then I think he will definitely be in top 10 if no MVP but also has good performance like the previous 2 LAN events then he might enter, depending on the performance of Jame for IEM winter and BlameF in the last 2 events. So. TLDR b1t has good chances to be in top 10. what do you think?

You think 3 events that happened towards the very end of the year are gonna weigh more than all the other tournaments during the first whole 10 months of the year altogether? h2h they surely win over any other, but to think hltv will prioritize november and Cologne over the rest of the year is just delusional. LANs are returning but we still live in an online dominated era, embrace it.

why you offense me, it's all based on logic of hltv ranking, last year literally 1 LAN event made navi second best team in the world even tho Vitality won more. b1t won't be higher than Hobbit but surely will make top 10 and probably will be higher than Ax1Le, I bet your mom on this.
2021-12-03 07:46

You really need to be 12yo cringy kid when you're using "your mom" punch No he won't be higher than Ax1Le cuz Ax1Le has waaaaay better stats and impact + 2 MVPs (HLTV also values MVP by giving them 3 levels a gold, silver and bronze) So Ax1Le got MVP from EPL which is gold level and IEM summer a silver level while B1t? Got his ass carried by s1mple lol

b1t got lots of EVPs also yes, you got a point that his impact rating is low, overall this year, but for the LAN events he has good impact anyway, the thing is the competition for the top 10 is not that far from b1t either. so he's got a chance for top 10 also I don't understand the KRIMZ reference, can you explain and yes I agree with Ax1le entering top 7
2021-12-03 08:48
4 replies
KRIMZ played like top3 player for the few early months of 2018 then fnatic like fnatic dipped with form but the few months was enough for krimz to earn spot in top10 And let's be honest Gambit didn't dip that much they just overworked themselves so Ax1Le is easily top6 player this year cuz elec also don't have any MVPs
2021-12-03 09:02
3 replies
I think I placed ax1le above electronic in my top list, so I agree with you, I think I said that if electronics gets the MVP for the last event and ax1le does not play good (maybe 1.05 rating ish) then electronic could be 6th but as of now things point out to ax1le being top 6 and electronic top 7, but we are not sure how much weight is given to the LAN events compared to the online events
2021-12-03 09:10
2 replies
+1 I don't think they will put LAN events above online that much It's like saying Gambit is responsible for spreading virus worldwide to make CS events online complete bs for me, every pro team had over a year to adapt to the online meta so this excuse is getting really boring lately

HLTV is not immune to the B1T hype, the esports awards gave him rookie of the year, he had incredible stats at the major, he has incredible stats on LAN in general and was the reason that the GOAT finally got his major. Although I agree with you that objectively B1T is probably not a top 10 player when taking ALL of 2021 into account but HLTV isn't perfect, its completely possible that B1T takes the number 7, 8, 9 or 10 spot this year.

Niko/Ax1le 7. electronic if ax1le drops in performance at the remaining 2 events and electronic keeps his LAN performance maybe ax1le can drop to 7th and Niko will be 5th maybe some names can be swapped in this top 7, but I am sure that these players will be in top 7 if somehow electronic gets the MVP for the Blast Final then he might be pushed up more

Ukraine Valeriy "B1T" Vakhovskiy "He's a player with a lot of potential and if he continues working as he has, he will definitely be part of this list in the future." hltv.org/news/30998/top-20-players-of-20..

electronic got lots of EVPs. especially for the LAN events, so I am sure that electronic could be above most of the remaining players but if you don't agree with this then name at least 4 players that did better this year I can name: yekindar jame maybe (1 MVP but low impact so not sure) device maybe them can be above electronic, the rest of the players no way
