nexa IGL
NiKo |

What if nexa retains his IGL roles on G2 but, this time, under a better coach like kassad? This way they don't compromise on firepower while keeping substantial tactical ground like before. And let's be honest, there's not much nexa does apart from IGLing, so if he plays more aggressive and gathers info for his team, he can easily decrypt enemy team setups within the first 10-15 seconds into the round, and with m0NESY coming in, the firepower on this roster will be off the charts, so they can counter pretty much any kind of setup even without nexa performing at his fullest. Ideally, if the roster comes off to be somewhat similar to this: NiKo (lurker) huNter (star/main rifler) nexa (IGL/support) m0NESY (AWP) maden (entry) kassad (Coach)

I guess, he doesn't like that you put nexa on support position.

he could play lurker I guess while NiKo and maden play entry, but they still need someone to play the less important roles

i swear just +m0nesy and they should be fine

I agree as well. JaCkz is also a great entry for G2. And people still forgetting that G2 were performing in the beggining of Year 2021 much worse without Jackie. No need to add maden ( no offense to him, he is an incredible talented player and for sure could fit in G2 pretty good). If you kick JaCkz then hunter will go down on himself and will start to perform badly. Just add m0NESY and a decent coach like emi or kassad ( or both of them if carlos has the money) and G2 can compete for tournaments. On paper it should work but we will see on the true realisation of the lineup because it will solely depend on m0NESY integration into T1 scene.

he probably doesnt want to IGL no more

I'm sure he'd be better off without IGLing, but there are very few "good" options out there to consider rn

nobody knows whats going on right now. You got reports they want 2 players and then players saying they dont want to change roster. I think you wont know much until the player break

the players in G2 saying "that they don't want changes" is just a way to hide that changes are coming into the team. And the removal of malek from the team is what it gives away. Because if they were to keep the same lineup they would have kept malek too. They just want to keep the changes in the team privately so fans could get hyped for what will happen with G2.

Imagine wanting Kassad when emi is open, Emi coached them in Crazy al almost found their way to quaters. I think Emi will suit G2 more then kassad.

kassad tooko RNG to a major top 4 emi took CR4ZY to 1 good tournament run and then nothing else in like 3 years
2021-12-05 13:18
Go tell that to fpx because they trippin
2021-12-05 13:21
Emi > kassad for sure. I don't think kassad does any relevant coach work. Also emi already worked with nexa and hunter in the past so they know how to work together
2021-12-05 13:27
"when emi is open" kassad is literally a free agent rn whereas FPX asked for a ludicrous buyout sum for overrated emi

emi is a decent option all things considered, but it doesn't make sense considering they could get kassad literally free over emi who could potentially have a big buyout. Read the last paragraph: 1pv.fr/news/136170-g2-interested-in-alek..

I don't care about anything that is not on hltv, half of these "rumors" are baits. They said on post "Malek parts away with g2" that emi is linked with g2 and coming back together with Hnt and nexa. (Niko also good freind) + Maden won't happen, Nexa said in podcast that he wants to be star player like Niko and Hunter, not entry whos stats gonna suffer and just being traded on maps.

Maden was very garbage in ence tho :/ not a good look.

Contract expired, and G2 looking to go full international so no need for a french coach

G2 removed him and he was rumoured with EG

What are even saying he does not do much apart from igl? He is main support player since amanek became awp. He switched most of his roles after niko entered and amanek became awp. He is now igl, support and anchor.

Maden is a downgrade. Don't tell me he is Tier1. He isn't. He barely can play on Ence standing in, and had average to mediocre stats playing against tier2 in way better roles than Jackz. Jackz is the bitch of this team, and the lack of a competent t side Awper is fucking him for the whole season. Kassad is past his days imo, and I see a future for Swaani (analyst and stand-in coach) coaching, as he has done pretty well, and has been an analyst for the best teams in the world for years. Nexa is a average/slightly better than average IGL. MaLeK was the saviour of this team, and the one who mashed the to make them work. Getting Aleksib (or Tabsen, but aleksi is the better pick) to IGL,and either keeping Nexa or jackz is the play (and of course get m0NESY

+1 I saw the "maden" part of the post and didn't have to read any further. He's not cut out for tier 1 play

getting tabseN out of his contract just sounds too good to be true, but if this deal comes through: NiKo & huNter - same roles as before nexa - lurker tabseN - IGL/support m0NESY - AWP

HuNter lurks. He isn't going to his previous roles if nexa lurks. Tabsen isn't a support in BIG and though I don't doubt he can adapt, only 1 support player isn't enough, there has to be an entry and getting NiKo full time entrying isn't a great idea. Either you get Tabsen to entry IGL (not his style) or you make Nexa entry and Tabsen support (also not very fitting to Tabsen) Plus Tabsen, although he is a great and probably top5 IGL, doesn't really fit with G2 as well as Aleksi does. Also I find Aleksi more consistent in his calls

wasn't huNter the main rotation player? iirc the only time he was playing lurker was in Pro League and he had a mediocre performance as a lurker.

Why m0nesy and maden? If they get kassad, actually it would be bullshit to have like 80 guys from Balkans and 1 russian

0.1/8 maden is decent but jackz is better and m0nesy would benefit from a good igl like aleksib, nexa being mediocre igl in G2 works because everyone in that team is experienced already
