Ironically, considering your post history, you seem to be a net loss for your country. I don't think your opinion is particularly valid.

Wtf. I can imagine that denmark suck at winter. I live in Malmö now (for those who don't know it's in the south of Sweden) and it sucks here .. barely any snow just COLD rain etc. I'm from the north of sweden where I lived until I was 21, that was great during winter! Even if it was colder it still didnt feel as cold as down here due to the air-difference. North of sweden 21 years (great winter) Cyprus 4 years (autumn and spring, too hot during summer and to cold during winter) South of Sweden 6 almost 7 years - nice during the summer and spring, sucks during autumn and winter.

Yea you basically have a long ass autumn, which just sucks. Same in southern Finland. So dark, always raining.

Denmark's weather just kind of sucks all year around. Grey and bleh. Rains all the time, never cold but never warm If you prefer 10-20 degrees, Denmark is the best.

I would say you've probably been lucky, but yes we do have a few weeks every summer with 25+ degrees and sunshine but.. Its mostly rainy and not that warm. Occasionally, like everywhere else I imagine, we have very hot days.

Yeah finland is a Nordic but not a scandinavian country. Anyway Lapland (as in northern finland) is a popular tourist attraction in the winter(snow, winter sports, northern lights, nature) so you could go there or just go to Helsinki if you just wanna see the cities

Thats a bad choice. Helsinki doesnt have a proper winter these days. Just cold, wet and dark. Go to lapland and be amazed.
2021-12-07 21:57
Nothing to do here in the winter. You could go to copenhagen, pretty safe "big" city. Otherwise, there is not much to do here in the winter.
2021-12-07 22:45
Only the very northern part of Finland is part of geographical area called Scandinavia (take a look at the map and see where mount of Scandes runs down to South). As a geography Scandinavia refers to area around the mount of Scandes. But, people often mix geographical and cultural concepts when they use term Scandinavia, so Scandinavia is often used to refer to the Nordic cultural area also.

If you are as dedicated as you try to look like then I suggest you actually spend 5 minutes to read up on the matter. I work in the pharmaceutical area in a CMO/CDMO, manufacturing more than one vaccine for Covid-19 so obviously I have more data available than most. But there are plenty of official data for you to get you hands on. Right now you are just spreading misinformation and quite frankly you are just a part of the problem rather then a solution. Whish you all well and that you and your peers decide to get vaccinated. Meanwhile we'll keep working our asses off as we have been for the last (almost) two years to produce the best available vaccine

If you wanna experience winter, you can go to Åre in Sweden, its affordable and great place for winter activity like experiencing skiing and stuff like that. Norway is more expensive
2021-12-07 21:57
Nordic countries are great during winter if you do winter sports but if you are not into winter sports then what to do? Most tourist attractions are closed if those are not somehow related to winter activities. It is next to impossible to hike around in forests, mountains and lake and coast lines without skies when there is 0.5-1m snow, but everyone loves snowmobiling right? If you travel with kids they would love Lapland, Northern lights, Santa Claus and all sort of snow activities for kids even when they would not do "proper" winter sport things (cross country skies, downhill skies, skating on ice etc).
