low sens=more precise
Use what you like or comfortable with
fastest person to shoot head wins
cross hair placement should be good but still faster sens should mean quicker to find head.
but I am not a pro and nor are you and I cannot control high sens like s1mple can, so I use lower.
just go 1 sens 800dpi and its perfect middle ground
For me its much better to shoot on low sens but then im struggling with checking positions, ita so difficult to clear angles with low sens …for example coming out apps as T on inferno is impossible, you can check only one angle or dead
Low DPI (400)
You get optimal reactions and smooth movement when 400dpi doesen ”shake” and high sens make sure you can move ypur mose fast.
VALDE: 400dpi 2.00 sens (example)
Honestly i prefer high sens, i play with 2000 edpi and i have 60% hs and i just cant stand having a low sens, its just a question of preference.
Well, s1mple has the highest Headshot percentage amongst any AWPer in CSGO history, so you can't decide based on exceptions. In general, if your crosshair placement is on point, low sens is without a doubt the more efficient option.
highsens better whenu can handle it
70% hs rate
statistically low lens and light mouse is better. Only a select few high skill players use high or very high sensitivity.
Personal preference aside.
You have insane consistent aimers on both ends of the spectrum...its purely a preference/habit issue.
I would love to go to higher sens, but i cant stand the adjustment period thats needed....
I have played most of my cs life in lower sens. I have tried to adapt to higher sens but I just cannot be consistent and play same angles as I play on low sens. Long range duels are harder for me and it takes so much effort to warmup. Low sens you don't need to warmup, just hold angle and shoot
i will always say this
low sens gives more consistency for the most part
fast sens has a higher skill peak ceiling, bcs u can just move around faster
Low sens allows for better adjustments, and is better for rifles. You'll be more accurate, but you'll need to move your arm a whole lot if you turn around frequently (clearing, avoiding flashes, playing dm) and that can be painful. As an awper, it makes you more consistent at holding angles but less versatile. If entry fragging is your thing you might also want a higher sens.
S1mple's aim is frequently shaky btw. But he obviously has a very good aim, and is an awper, so it mostly doesn't matter so much.
800 dpi 1.5 sens is the best
Both have pros and cons, respectively.
it really doesnt matter, from my experience (a guy who changes sens like every week, lowest i played on was 1 400dpi, highest was 2 1600dpi, there are advantages and disadvantages
To me, i could feel my rifling and pistoling alot better on the lower sens, but my awping and flicking on awp is so much better on high sens. Not saying it isnt good on low sens but on high sens, your ceiling as an awper is higher because you have a wider range of motion int he scope.
Its ultimately up to you, i know bymas players high sens while entrying rifling transfering kids
but if u look at majority of the good riflers and awpers awpers tend to not go below the 1.9 400dpi range, while riflers go down to the low 1 and even michu uses even lower, there are outliers like ax1le and bymas or art(hybrid so not really) but majority
simple (awper) 3.09 400dpi
sh1ro (awper) 1.02 800dpi = 2.04 on 400 to make it easier
zywoo awper 2 400 dpi
kennys awper 2.2 400dpi
jame apwer 0.63 1600
broky 1.9 400
electronic rifler 2.2 400
b1t rifler 1.42 400
niko rifler 1.51 400
twistzz rifler 1.5 400
rain rifler 1.65 400
hobbit rifler 1.1 800
ax1le (rifler 1.5 800
as i said, up to u, depends on whetehr u wrist aim or forearm aim. just dont go to a sens where u cant do a 180 in one swipe
high sens is high skill ceiling, but you need to be really good to do it consistently
low sense is a lower skill ceiling but you can be consistent af and like you said micro-adjustments and also spraying is easier (which is why most riflers use low sens)
How higher the sense, the more difficult to micromanage your aim, but how faster you can flick too..
It just comes down to what makes you comfortable to play.
high sens is a lot harder to control, but the goat player uses it
Download the 3 weird -noforceprearms or whatever they are launch options, write m_customaccel 1.05, m_mousespeed 1, go down to 400dpi and become the funniest looking guy on the server
I'd love to be low sens abuser but I can't since high ping. it's better to +w with high ping.
I would posit that reaction time has a bigger impact on how fast your kills are than the time taken to flick to the enemy as a result of different sensitivities.
It's easier on long distance or hold angles, but harder if you play against a p90 jumping at your face and you need to move fast or do 180º turns. For example, on Nuke that has close range on different levels it's a pain in the ass but doable ofc.
Everything in life has ups and downs, just decide what's best for you.
My Aim got better and better when I started to lower my sens bit by bit.
Now I am at 400DPI 1,20
Well, I just started using a higher sens.
I used to have 800 dpi with 0.76, but even though I could aim for the head better sometimes, it just greatly inconvenienced me in every aspect of the game.
Now, I upped it to 800 dpi 1.25, and my hs% is a bit worse, but I manage to aim way better than before, and I just move way better in general, I only played 1 match since I did that but I think I'm gonna be better now )DDD
i'm quite confortable with 1.3@1200dpi,it's fast and has enough control to me,using 0.8@800 dpi previously was fucking my 180s it was too slow, now i improved a lot with a higher sens
its mid sens for me
2.25 sens 2400 elo here, had 75-85% avg hs when I was playing dm
Im not a guru or some shit but let me tell you, unless you are constanly missing easy shots or you dont feel comfortable enough theres no reason to change.Sure if you feel like its time to change you csn try to experiment but constantly doubting ur sens is the worst thing u can do to yourself. I swear everytime i change i become absolute trash and I always go back to this sens.
I have high sens and I prefer that.
you should have the highest sens that you can perform well with
It's all about comfort, finding the right balance between precision and aim but also range of movement and movement
high sense - low consistency (s1mple is insane when talking about consistency) but you can reach a higher skill peak.
low sense - insane consistency but bad in some situations and you can't reach insane skill peaks.
