Nah.. chinas hockey team are literally ..no names.. any b-teams should EASILY make it through.. if any team loses to chinas hockey team.. that whole team should quit.

I'm pretty certain we had better chance than ever before. The players from the U20 squads that won 3 U20 championships in 2010s were starting to be in their prime age. Also many of them are playing in the first line of their respective NHL rosters.

the problem is that nhl joining strengthens quite a few people, cz would be stronger, sweden too aswell as obvs us and canada who dont have to send their 5th teams

Yeah I remember watching the Olympics that made them do this. Latvia vs Canada and Latvia injured a few big players and NHL was like no fuck that. Primarily the owners. I don't blame them. Imagine paying allthis money and ur player gets injured for some Greek games

Last 2 olympics played with the best players Finland placed 3rd and both times we were playing with a washed up team, literally same players that were good in 2006. Now we have had a lot of young talent up and coming and Finland has been among the most successful countries in U20 tournaments in last decade (along with Canada and US). That has also shown in NHL. If you look at the NHL statistics there are many Finns on the top of the list (scoring and points). Maybe not this year specifically but the past few years.
