Guanyu Zhou gets 3rd in F2 championship and is even 2 years older than Piastri gets a seat in F1 for next season because he brings in more money.
how is this not the worst sport ever and how is this shit so popular? imagine b1t doesnt get the place in Navi instead BIRDFROMSKY gets the place because his father is a millionaire and sponsors the team.

There are a lot of drivers that are better than Bottas through out those 5 seasons that would do much better with that car.
I mean he drove the fucking W11 ffs and still managed to win only 2 races and was very close to max in points.

Of course Piastri is better than Zhou but you should not disrespect Zhou before he has shown anything in F1. He is not even close to birdfromsky tiers of garbage, he has looked quite good in f2. Piastri will find a place according to his academy sooner rather than later

Even Mazepin is better than that. People like to forget that Mazepin was in the upper third of f2 drivers. He is more like Kyojin, driving in tier 1 even though it is a bit too high for him, but still talented

People forget that Mazepin's car is heavier, and he doesn't have access to simulators of some races while mick is getting full support from Ferrari and helpful engineer but still trash.

zhou might not be a world beater but from what he shown in f2 hes definitely decent enough to be given a chance

How long have you watched the sport? It is far more complex than what you described. Money is king expecially for smaller teams. They need do think if they want to develop as a team with backed finance or struggle 2-3 more years at the bottom. Two exceptionally good drivers can also be a problem. Like Alonso / Hamilton was

My mate has just got his drive in F2 next season.
Says basically its all money driven you dont even have to be the cream of the cream in driving to make it. So dont see what the difference is in F1 unless your the top teams fighting for titles it doesnt really matter who you have driving.
