Imagen if we went to a 9 map pool. with mirage and inferno included. wheres both teams veto two maps at the end to leave a decider.
Competitive field would be much wider.
probably a lot of games would go to the decider map though.
I really detest Dust-2, but I love Mirage. It feels like a perfectly balanced map. And I think it's one of the most played maps on Faceit as well. I don't think the community as a whole would appreciate Mirage getting removed.
i didnt mean 5 stack, just 5 good players that actually know how to play the map. mirage t side can be extremely cancerous if you're not playing with a coordinated team.
granted what you say is true, but the notion that mirage is inherently a balanced map is not true imo
To me after the last update dd2 has lost everything that it made the map interesting to begin with. The map used to be really spawn based now the Ts have to be really slow in order to clear mid because ct's can easily push. I'd remove DD2 at this point.
Still would be playable to me so meh. I'd rather have D2 out of pro play instead of mirage for now, but wouldn't say it isn't a good move.
What map would come in doe? Tuscan? No decent maps to get in, last good competitive map made was ancient
de_Dust2
de_Nuke (the original 4 classics)
de_Train
de_Inferno
de_Cbble (some of the older version in CS:GO)
de_Tuscan (most likely wont happen in a while but still)
de_Cache (great remastered version)
Yeah remove it for 6 months , add train or cbble back.
We should have a rotative map pool where a skill like fast learning and adaptativeness to different maps is needed.
