With the list of remaining players shrinking, it's becoming easier to determine who's in it and who isn't. So let's try to guess the 12 next players: 12. Jame, he was good, but not outstanding, I can't see him be much higher. I expected him earlier on the list even. 11. HuNter, obviously a great second star on G2 beside NiKo, but not too consistent, so he'll not be among the better top 10. 10. Dev1ce, even though he's not nearly as good on NiP as on Astralis, he is still the best player on NiP, and NiP was in the top 10 teams for too long this year to not have a player there. 9. B1t, he was amazing at the end of the year, but the start was mediocre, and I think the upcoming players outdid him with their consistency. 8. Yekindar, VP's star player, top-fragging for them every time, without him they wouldn't be in the top 20, let alone so well-placed in the top 10 for the whole year. 7. Ax1le, top-fragged many times, got a bunch of MVP's. But his lack of consistency at the high level holds him back from being higher on the list. 6. Electronic, S1mple's loyal backup, a star-player this year just like the last few, steps up when it counts. 5. Hobbit, same as Ax1le, except he was the star at more important events and on LAN. 4. NiKo, he had an amazing year, just not quite good enough to compete with three huge AWPers, also held back because he didn't win any significant events. 3. ZywOo, he was always doing well, but not as well as the two years before. At the end he stepped up again to win IEM Winter, and that win (and the MVP with it) is what puts him firmly above NiKo in 2021. 2. Sh1ro, good enough for some people to compare him to S1mple despite his lack of LAN experience, just like ZywOo in 2020. He also won a lot of events and got a bunch of MVPs, more than Ax1le and Hobbit, though he sometimes dropped off when it mattered, particularly on LAN. 1. Allu, who else where you expecting? At least in his own mind he's always top 1. No reason to be serious about this one, there's no question for anyone who's on this spot or why. What do you think?
