ropz -higher rating -higher KPR -top 5 in 3 categories -1 EVP -1 event win blameF -lower rating -lower KPR -top 5 in 1 category -1 EVP -0 event wins Complexity and New Astralis team rank - 16 and 17 respectively MOUZ team rank - 14 So what in the fuck is blameF 5 positions above ropz for? If any HLTV admins see this, I'm genuinely asking for an explanation, and I <3 Striker :)

ropz failed in every single big event while blamef didn't that simple

one event blameF didn't flop was statistically a fluke as it's a new team with no time to practice, only reason they won is because no one had any prep against them. They picked nuke 2 times and got absolutely read on it and rekt as they them selves had no responses. Next event was a flop. I guess luck is on blameF's side as particular event is LAN, but it's such a fucking coincidence of a timing for them to just work for 5 fucking matches it's incredible....

tbh k0nfig > blameF idek what blameF is doing on this list ropz > k0nfig > blameF

+1 konfig was best player in CoL and now best player in astralis
2022-01-12 22:21
hand injury:(

Probably cause BlameF has 30 maps with 1.17 rating for big events over 2021, Ropz 1.05 with 16 maps. Maybe BlameF being IGL until Astralis also works towards it.

I meant that BlameF IGL'ing in CoL might also add something to why he is rated higher then Ropz. Focusing on IGL means less time to focus on individual skill.

I'm not saying BlameF is a great IGL. if you think I said that, you need your eyes checked. I did say he had more things to focus on besides putting bullets in heads. All I said is that the time investment differentiation might have contributed to his ranking.

your point is invalid, being IGL isnt excuse to frag less, even tho he didnt do a good job IGLing, all he did while being a leader is sending his teammates first so he can trade frag, thats why didnt achieve anything and couldnt even win a bo3. The guy sucks and is overrated, ropz deserved better, yuurih, frozen, anyone you put here will fit 1000% better

ropz was worse at the highest tiers and was less consistent you can also just read the article, it is explained at the bottom why they are placed at the rank they are
2022-01-12 22:17

he was less consistent against high tier opponents because they played 4v5 in those. acoR only worked against tier 3 opponents, any remotely high level team would destroy him even on half buys. Times he got peeked and destroyed with Galils is incredible. I hate to point fingers but it was beyond obvious that against MOUZ people did not play as respectful as they would against an actual good AWPer, tons of flashes, double peeking, no - they just peeked acoR like he's using a PPbizon and not an AWP. Rating does not show that, does not show that every round was an uphill battle because of that. Sucks for ropz tho, should be corrected if faze thing works.

BlameF with another solid year, despite rough work conditions in both Complexity, and Astralis. It amazes me how many people fail to realize how impossible his work conditions actually have been. A complexity who played more with a stand-in than their full roster. Astralis who right now is in a re-building phase, where blameF also gave up being the IGL. Everyone calling him baitF and actually so believe he is overrated are flirting with being delusional. He’s been rock solid, and ever since joining Astralis by far their best performer. Give blameF a stable team, and you’ll see him kill it once again in 2022

best preformer in a team that had one good run and only thanks to nobody being able to read what they are playing? Once they got read for picking nuke 3 times they were absolutely rekt on it without a fucking chance. I don't think that's top 20 worth performance, he is a solid player af but with nothing meaningful to show this year apart from one fluke run.
2022-01-13 12:28
ropz is obviously a better player, but in 2021 ropz had bad stats at the major and big events, just take a look at that... blamef was great, even while IGLing, so yea ofc blamef>ropz in 2021

it doesnt dictate who is the better player (not arguable for top 3~5) but is just a representation of their performance/stats/achievements this year (pretty sure achievements hold the most weight)

probably because col and astralis had higher tournament finishes and took part in more big tournaments (especially the last lan tournaments)

that's not really a team issue, ropz was doing poorly at the highest events he played whereas blamef stayed consistent

Blame played at Blast fall final with astralis and they got 3rd Can’t think of anything else
2022-01-12 22:42
BlameF has played and had higher ratings in higher and more stacked tournaments. Not to forget the team placings aswell since those also play a role in the top 20. Mouz had a very poor year with their only highlight being that one RMR tournament at the start of the year. I forgot the name of the tournament but they beat a controversial NIP. (Anonymo did nothing wrong.)

2022-01-13 12:54
2021 blamef vs top5: 1.15 (48 maps) ropz vs top5: 1.05 (21 maps) blame vs top10: 1.14 (77 maps) ropz vs top10: 1.12 (65 maps) xaxaxaxxxaxxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxa

blameF played whole year against tier 1 opponents ropz played half of matches in previous year against tier 2-3 opponents blameF 1.17 rating against t1 teams is more valuable, than ropz 1.18 rating against mostly top 15 - top 30 teams

Because BlameF has like 160 maps while Ropz barely has 100, at big events. Also, BlameF > Ropz against Top5, against Top10, and in the playoffs, in addition to having higher elite events rating as well.
