been to italy all my life like 20+ times for a week or two and i can tell you that my local italian restaurant has at least the same quality of pizza like the italians themselves literally no difference as if you would need to be in a special place to make good pizza absolute bullshit

burger kings in russia are destroyed cause of 10-15 kids who are buying a cup of pepsi for 100 rubels and driking it for 2 hours (refiling pepsi is free here)
I'd say McDonalds is on average cleaner, but Burger King is more consistent.
I say this because my dad has been around the world, and visited places in Africa with the cadets multiple times. On trips to places like rural Ethiopia or Mozambique he'd have to shit in what was essentially a hole in the floor enclosed by 4 bits of wood - you can imagine the smell.
But despite all the different terrible places he's been to the toilet, McDonalds on Oxford Street ranked #3. It was the worst place I've ever been on earth, I can't imagine how it got so bad.

Anyway London has so many fastfood chains but if you ask anyone how they liked it they'll always say "shit" yet when you go there it's actually decent. (vice versa too)
Tbh, best chains are those that opened not too long ago, usually clean and once they start kicking off you'll hear the rats and mice stories :D

My local McDonalds was closed down for a week or two because of an apparently horrifying mouse infestation.

i mean you can get unlucky but almost all mcdonalds are v clean and cheap for fast food places
I've seen a McD that used designer furniture, as in the really expensive stuff. They did so as sort of a gimmick to stand out, but generally you can't really fault how their locations here done up or kept clean here.
The problem is the food is just bland industry stuff, there is no real flair or love so going to a non-chain place for food is much better.

For a ton of countries it prob makes sense to say fries as the English word fries is based is other words with either mean potatoes or fries/chips in other countries so makes more sense to keep calling it something similar

I like Culvers a bit more because I feel they're more consistent and their cheese curds n shakes are pretty good, but In-N-Out is top tier for the price. My only real complaint about Culvers is how expensive it can get whereas In-N-Out in the burger department is damn near as good at a fraction of the cost.

Five guys isn't as good in my opinion and it is the most expensive out of the 3. It could just be my experience, but five guys always comes out super sloppy and smashed, their fries are either over fried or soggy and the price for a burger and fries is like $15 - $19. I like that you can add whatever to the burger for free (the least they could do) but if you add too many things it exacerbates the issue of the burger being too damn sloppy. The taste is good, but not better than Culvers or In-N-Out because their burgers aren't as caramelized which is what I want in a good smash burger.
Personally I'd go Culvers >= In-N-Out > Five Guys
Pepsi > Cola

opening times of mcdonalds are way better here where i live... like honestly the bk guy closed the door in front of my face at 6.30 p.m. even tho they officially open until 10 p.m. while mcdonalds is always open until 2 a.m. and sometimes longer if there are enough people
only reason i go to bk is that it is in my city and not 10km furthers and there are 2 dudes and dudines i know working there
so in comparison: KFC fucks them both in the ass easily but the next one is like 100km away from me :(
