Well it's obvious that you can't have high hs/per round and hs% without a lot of kills. But just kills alone won't help you determine if you are actually a HS prodigy. For instance, NiKo would often have a 0.40/0.50 hs per round, but that's because he frags a lot, his hs% is actually about 50% most of the time. This example is pretty much the same as the High hs% but low amount of kills (i.e. SANJI). So only the real aim gods like YEKINDAR, b1t, scream, twistzz and a few others outside of tier1 are actually having both good hs per round and hs%.

NiKo is living proof that 50% is the ideal HS percentage for maximal efficiency. Almost all of the top riflers are around 50% as well.

NiKo have 50% because 7% of his kills are with AWP and 15% with silencer

The silencer argument is pointless because it doesn't change anything even if you go back to m4a4 days. The AWP doesn't matter either, you can isolate these stats at any given time without the AWP and the silencer and the results would be almost identical. Only a few names are up there with having a good consistency as well as headshot accuracy (basically the ones I mentioned)

Something people need to realize about B1t is his surviving boosts his stats massively. Twistzz has a lower headshot % than b1t, but a higher HS per round, because he has a higher KPR by quite a bit

I mean it's mostly just a product of ALWAYS aiming for the head. I know this seems extremely obvious, but the way I DM and prac is always headshots. In matches it translates over fairly well and I end up with a HS rating between high 50s - mid 60s with 20+ kills. I understand I'm not playing at a pro level or anything, but I can definitely say for me at least, HS only DM servers for years will do that to your aim

Besides good aim/crosshair placement , which all pros have tbh, its also a product of low sens....
Everyone who played long enough with low sens knows that the fact you have to pull down much more when spraying (or basically with anything other than tapping) , but naturally youll only exaggerate that much with the mouse pull, causes the bullets to travel in a more upward trajectory than when spraying with higher sens, naturally increasing the chance to get a kill with a hs.

play hs only dm it raised my hs percentage from 35 to 45% and i am same elo as you
not really, you don't even kill on ct if you hit the first bullet into the head.
It's a fun stat to look at but in the grand picture doesn't say much

For me it’s most t kills are hs most ct kills are 1 headshot then a body shot
