electronic daylight robbery
Finland Bring_Back_Akuma
They actually rated those 2 onliners from gambit higher. Electronic > shiro and ax1le. Embarrassing.

I fully expected Electronic 7th. Hobbit and Ax1le deserved their spots this year. But still, Electronic > Gambit

Thats why I said Electronic > Gambit still, but for this year, they were the more performed players

Man I'm feeling sad for electronic. On any given day he is better than the ones from gambit and hltv just did this shit again. Didn't expect him to be this low

why feel sad for papatronic? at the end of the day he won what he wanted to win (major + IGS + blast world) who cars about hltv top 20

Hmm yeah
2022-01-16 20:10
exactly what I think. Anyone who watches these games knows electronic was a top 5 player but doesn't matter. He won everything he doesn't need this approval.
2022-01-17 09:01
Papatronic won a major, has a dominant team and making real moolah from Cash prices with all the 1st finishes. I don't think being ranked 4th or 7th will affect him that much.

I'm sure he's just fine, no need to be sad for him. He's being paid tons of money to play on the best counter strike team in the world. He probably doesn't even pay attention to stuff like this.
2022-01-16 20:19
a reminder that this list is about 12 months of a year, not just the last few months. No need to undermine ax1le and hobbit

+1 exactly people saying electronic is higher are the same as the ones saying NiKo should be top2 instead of ZywOo or top 3 instead of sh1ro. too much recency bias.

in this year zywoo should not be second for sure. sh1ro is the most optimal choice, also NiKo should be 3rd

Zywoo has 1.3 rating + 1 elite event mvp + 3 elite event evps + other evps. He is second best player in 4 out of 10 big events this year. He will be top 2.

IEM winter is fuking elite event. It had 8 top 9 teams. Juts because navi didn't play doesn't make it small event. hltv.org/stats/players/events/11893/zywo.. these are 11 biggest events of 2021 zywoo is the best player in iem winter. 2nd best in blast global, world, fall finals and epl 14 atleast top 5 player in major & dh. so out of 11 big events zywoo was exceptional in 7 of them.

iem winter is not elite even, elite event starts from prize pool 500k usd, iem winter was 250k. Niko is second best player in major, close rating to zywoo against top20,top10,top5. Higher impact against top 10. A lot evps. Zywoo in major top 5 ? ahahah, not in top5 for sure, top 10 - maybe. Worst year in his carear, for sure.

dude. prize money is not a factor in elite event. seems like you don't know the basics at all. there were 6 elite events last year. major, cologne, kato, iem winter, blast global & fall finals. hltv.org/stats?event=5608&event=4866&eve.. zywoo has 1.27 rating + 1 mvp + 3evps niko has 1.26 rating + 4 evps sh1ro has 1.19 rating + 1 mvp + 3 evps

are we talking about team results ? cause he got mvp only because Vitality won this, due to NaVi skipped the event. I thought this is a rating of player, not teams, thats why top5 is not fulfilled with 4 navi players

not. we are completely talking about individual results. if vitality won other events they reached finals, zywoo would have have 4 big mvps in total while niko still have 1 mvps even if g2 won the finals.thats the difference between those 2.only reason zywoo didn't won 4 mvps this year was because navi beat vitality in 3 finals.

dont think i am a hater, zywoo is great player, but this year he was strugling with his team and wasnts showing his best performance, like NiKo for example, or sh1ro even though, he baits
2022-01-17 08:29
I mean I think sh1ro will be top2 as hltv put much weight on MVP's. Otherwise ax1le wouldn't be above Elec

Look at the rating difference between zywoo and sh1ro compared to electronic, ax1le and hobbit. You have your answer right there
2022-01-17 16:12
It is nice to have good results online. It is nice to have good rating in lan when they are playing from their hotel room.

they didn't even play that bad on lan considering it was their first year in t1. keep in mind that electronic was actually mediocre for his standards since he had a 1.06/1.09 rating for the first 6 months until iem cologne.
2022-01-16 20:12
They werent even bad on lan, they played playoff in every event they attended with decent enough stats. Added to their online success got them above electronic. The rankings could have gone either way, and both scenarios would be deserved
2022-01-16 20:16

Yeah I like hobbit and he is a major winner and not onliner ofc. I meant ax1le and shiro. And ofc shiro deserves top3 position. I just wanted to overstate :D
2022-01-16 20:11
I won't be too surprised to see Niko at 5th or sh1ro at #2 for the first half of the year Gambit did dominate.Recency bias clouding judgments.
2022-01-16 20:13
Unfortunate... But then again ,Hobb1t was more consistent as electronic didn't give his best during the online period of 2021. sh1ro and ax1le have mvp awards . sh1ro even have a shot at #2. However electronic did show us why he is the right hand of the god during the LAN when it truly mattered.

But I don't think he would care that much about the hltv rankings ...they won the major,IGS, cologne and many other elite events. Skillwise we all know papatronic better than the Gambit players

You could say that Online era robbed Electronic, which is not really Gambit's fault. Besides, players aren't ranked based on their potential. They are ranked based on actual performances and achievements. 7th is both expected and well deserved.

whether you like it or not. Most of this year was played online, and they dominated during that time. You may not like it, but it's the facts. 2021, these players steamrolled, even thought it was online, they were officials.

2022-01-16 20:23
I hate that HLTV is the only top tier cs site, we really gotta stop this monopoly, they really put onliners over electroNic who smurfed on lans and would've had like 5 mvp at big events if he hadn't had s0mple in his team. i guess he can still sleep with his major+igs money)
