Ppl think Niko should be 3rd because he should. He is hardcarrying G2 in another level and his impact is absolutely insane. Sh1ro is playing baiter style'ish and has way less impact compared to Niko. Sh1ro relies a lot on his team to perform good, whereas Niko just does it all even tho his team sucks. Gambit had a great year, but when you put sh1ro in a team where he should do some initiative, he will disappear from top 15. In a nutshell.

After #9 B1t & #7 Electronic I think Niko will be 4'th. Seems like HLTV doesn't weigh LANs & Big Events that much but rather raw stats & MVPS. + It's said that HLTV doesn't have recensy bias so 1'st half of the year weights as much as second half.

Tbh b1t's #9 was inflated due to recency bias and the only reason why he was there was his LAN perfomance. Same goes for elec, he wasn't that good first half and for him to be top 5 while hobbit was consistant through whole year would be a joke. But imo elec had to be higher than ax1le.

if Hobbit and Ax1le get placed over electronic I don't see how sh1ro does not get 3rd over NiKo, all NiKo has over him is LAN rating, same als electronic compared to Hobbit and ax1le, elec way better Big event rating, but less in all the other categories. sh1ro has more event wins, more MVPs, and he still has a better overall year rating vs top teams. Also sh1ro was not as insane as NiKo on LAN but still held up. He was still very strong on LAN. So I think he will get 3rd.

I think it's the opposite. Electronic would represent team success, and the Gambit players would represent stats. Same with NiKo and Sh1ro, sh1ro has worse stats with more team success. NiKo has the advantage in those criteria

impact rating is not useless at all as clutches and entries heavily influence impact rating whilst meaningless kills give more of a 2.0 but barely any impact rating and entries are undervalued by 2.0 as it is already imo otherwise all these awp players wouldn't be leading the chart despite shit impact like in sh1ros case

Thatswhy i hate these rankings too--- because you cant fully quantify what players did on their teams. He definitely played better in the 2nd half of the year, no doubt about that, But I think the performances that sh1ro showed in the first half completely overpowers NiKo's performances in the first half, while NiKo didnt play that much better than sh1ro in the second half. Plus sh1ro has 3 MVPs that can be crucial. Idk, it will be very very close, sh1ro has probably better AVERAGE performance throughout the year, but the important stats are slightly on NiKo's side, sh1ro has 3 MVPs though. Both players will definitely deserve to get the 3rd in my opinion
