Switching the entire team to English would be okay if they signed Zywoo. Switching to English for sergej that hasnt played T1 since 2019 and couldnt cosistently perform in T3 Gorillaz, no i dint think so.

+1. There is no point to switch to english just because of sergej. AND sergej is not a support player and thats why -niko in OG would not make sense unless valde/nexa wants to be full support.

Pretty sure es3tag is more or less fluent in Swedish now, at least in game. Switching to english would just cause yet another obstacle and NiP right now needs stability.

Farming tier 2/3 teams doesn't necessarily mean you can perform in top10 tho. I also wouldn't consider a team like OG tier 1.

I don't think OG stand much of a chance versus most of the new and improved rosters in Tier 1 (G2, Faze, Astralis given some time, Vitality) but sure, their roster isn't bad. Think nexa being forced to IGL is gonna be very bad for them, but who knows

It’s very uncertain though because he was playing tier 2 sometimes tier 3 teams and playing good but if he is a true tier 1 player his stats should’ve been around 1.2 rating or more and the were more like 1.1.

gorillaz had very rough year and played very poorly but still sergej managed to put good numbers. hltv.org/stats/players/11916/sergej?star.. with good igl, with good team structure he will bounce back to tier 1 very quickly

When you are playing opponents from tier 3 and you are supposed to be tier 1 player, this numbers are okay at max. He was their star player (also played awp for a while). Do you really think that there is no correlation between sergej's performance and Gorillaz' losing?

And wtf is sergej about to do? Does he just expect to join a t1 team straight out the gate after being out of the scene for like 1,5 years? No international team (at least t1) will pick him up. He should humble up and come to realization if he let his career go down this path he needs to grind his way back up. And only reasonable option in that case would be HAVU.

yeah its not perfect idea, but they just signed nbk so they wont bench him so -dexter +sergej and give nbk a change is realistic. If it wont work then try to get igl support with experience.

Like people have said I would see sergej joining a tier 2 international roster or a finnish org for starters if/when he gets released from the gorillaz contract. Honestly a team like Kova with sergej and doto would be an alright contender in smaller tournaments.

Yet to be seen how the new Havu roster will work out, sergej would be a cool addition but Sm1llee is a promising player putting up numbers despite extremely inconsistent results from hReds in general. Havu certainly has been lacking in the consistency department so an addition of two players who don't really have slumps like Aerial and xseveN is huge for the team. I guess the main takeaway is that sergej just has to play for starters, another long break will just do harm and then it's gonna be the tier 3 CS blues without a doubt.

Sergej would have been maybe fitted in g2 to replace jackz but thats not gonna happen. I dont think rn there is team in top 20 for him (dont know if some of the teams are looking to make roster change). Zehn sergej doto could maybe make some potential finnish team? It would be sick to see him playing with jimpphat in the future. There is a few options for him but that buyout is going to reduce these team offers.

Why is everyone obsessed with this guy? Editored: I haven't seen him make one good choice in his career, except for accepting to join Ence maybe. If you think about it, he screwed allu over publicly instead of direct talks, his org members indicated at him being spoiled brat who has never worked a hour of real work in his life, he left for the army supposedly motivated, yet cut it short. Then joining this Gorillaz project, that has been stalling for a full year regarding in-game results as well as organizational order. I guess he was a decent rifle, but not as good as people consider him. I think people just want to believe and prefer optimistic delusions that would make a great story.
