yeah. sens can be weird. I remember when I first started playing CSGO, my friend got me into it, he was helping me set up my game, changing res, changing my sensitivity. I remember him telling me, you're going to want to play on a sens between 1 and 1.5, and I was on 800dpi. I remember lowing it to like 1.5 and I was like, there is no way people play this game with sensitivity this low lol. I thought it was bonkers, but now after playing for years, and understanding its not all just wrist movement, that he was right. Except, I would say you can proabably get away with playing as high as 2,5 on 800dpi, although I dont think id ever recommend anyone play over 2.1 or 2.2

Yeah, I've tried playing on a lower sens myself before, and I couldn't do it. I do remember there was a point in time where I played on 0.9 800DPI, and that was the lowest I think I could go, it took me a while to find a sens to stick with, but I have now, and have been rolling with it for the last 2 years. I'm a big fan of watching Niko played, tried to play on the sens he uses when I first started, and I could not, just wayyy to low for me, I think I do rwemember his sens being just a tad lower than you, he was at 1.43 or 1.47 something like that, and 400 dpi. As far as grip, I've always used a hybrid grip, almost a palm grip, my palm is hovering just above the mouse, and sometimes does rest on it, but use my finger tips. I never really looked into what grip I should use, I just use this grip, because its the grip I use naturally when I grab a mouse.

Yeah, a sens like this is SUPER HIGH. But to a new player who just installed counter strike, and has not done any PC gaming before in the past. This may feel right to them, if they have no prior knowledge of pro players sens'. Because a new player wouldn't lower it down under 2 because it just feels not right, and too slow, even though its recommended. Not saying you're a new player, but maybe you're situation was different than mine, i had a friend explain to me why I should use a lower sens rather than some ubsurd high sens. If I did not have my friend, I probably would have been playing on something crazy like 5 sens 800dpi
