that's a very loose argument, all teams at the time had great aimers but what made them dominate was that they had strats ahead of their opponents but look at current Navi their weakest element rn is their strats, only thing making them succeed rn is the team composition, young talent-filled roster like this could easily dethrone Navi

Karrigan god tier map veto mindgames, aleksib god tier "raw" midrounding (that looked silly with OG tier 2 individuals shitting the bed but no problem in g2).
Roughly equal IGLs in terms of ability, both have natural midround talents, but ofc karrigan better accolades having the luxury of top tier talent in his teams for 5 years. Aleksi will have that for the first time in his career.
Faze v G2 gonna be spicy, big firepower plus elite igl in both teams.

Karrigan in the past was also very good at midrounding. Looking back at Karrigans previous rosters, he has made miracles with run of the mill talent and rookies in Mouz, plus superstars in Faze. Karrigan simply has the better resume

mouz talent (especially ropz, frozen and even woxic) is vastly better than anything OG has had like ever.
Karrigan is ELITE but the difference between him and aleksib is that only now aleksib has the pieces to win, which karrigan has had way more consistently in his career.
So again, G2 vs FaZe should be SPICY.

Karrigan literally made them into world class players, they were nothing before then... Frozen was literally on his first tier 1 team, woxic as well. Look where they now are without him.
OG has had pieces to work with as well, Valde is commonly touted as one of the best minds of the game, NBK is a proven veteran etc. Definetly comparable

Absolutely not comparable. The mouz trio were always super talented but needed an IGL like karrigan to unlock them so props to him.
Valde is great, but there is only one of him in the team. NBK was too stubborn and had to be kicked just for that. The rest are literally more or less overrated academy pieces. Even danish niko does nothing in a team that doesnt speak his native language.
Pay attention to what happens on OG after their 1-2 months of honeymoon are over. Gonna be a revelation.

The mouz roster were literally rookies when karrigan adopted them. You're literally retconning history by applyinng what you know now to the past. They were not 'always super talented'.

Now this is like talking to a wall... Everyone knew ropz potential when he was picked straight from faceit and frozen was another great pick from mouz talent scouting which they do well to compensate how they run their team on a budget.
If you think valde/mantuu/issaa was comparable to ropz/frozen/woxic then I think its waste of time to continue this argument any further.

excatly, even in the earlier days with TSM they were still stringing together top 4 finishes, Karrigan literally has led a career of excellence and his resume is one of the best because of it.
Actually who are good IGLs? Carriedtrash is a relic of the past, AleksiBob is apparently overrate..
Nah, people think that stacking good players on a roster would make the team best in the world, though that hardly ever happens. A team is not a machine of 5 parts where you can just replace the parts for better parts. The teamwork, synergy, strats and teamplay, ability to naturally play off of one-another and feel the game as a team, communication under pressure, etc, everything comes into question. People seem to leave the human part out, when making such threads...

yekindar is god but i doubt he would leave VP, however, i would stick with rain for 1 year and see what happens
