what I mean is that they suffer the same flaws as other contemporary "studio perfect" metal (usually tech death/deathcore) bands. There whole "sound" on the album is a result of quantizing, sample replacing the drums, fixing every imperfection and making it literally a perfect performance. It's impossible to recreate that live without the whole band sounding sterile, weak and lacking dynamics.
They don't have that massive, clear wall of sound with live instruments like Cannibal Corpse for example, or Devin Townsend, Opeth, or even some tech death like Origin.
