The Game had a 12 Million peak. everyone knew this wouldnt last forever lol. Then too many Idiots quit because of Muh Pandas. MoP was amazing but too many butthurts. WoD spiked the Game again hard and Legion was probably their best overall expansion. The Game realy tanked mid BFA and ofc Shadowlands

no its not. if you wanna jump on the Hype train feel free to do so. But the only Areas in which FF14 beats WoW is Story telling and maybe the Boss designs. In the End its Personal Preference but please dont forget. Without WoW there wouldnt be a FF14

no it doesnt. FF14 combat is terrible. 2.5gcds with 30spells is just overkill. And FF14 has the absolute worst Interface. The Animation doesnt even feel fluid like WoW

Saying it’s good when it isn’t means you’re barring more new players from joining. “what does that have to do with a hypothetical world in which wow would come out now as a new game” Because it means the new player experience sucks, and eventually the legacy players (which is most people) will move on. People won’t be joining the service unless it improves. How do you think the game will run without enough paying users in it?
