I think they are already better. Yes CPH had a good run at the Major and they deserve that credit but they followed up with nothing after. Extra Salt went to Europe, qualified for pro league by going 3-0 and then to follow up coming up in 2nd place in a t2 European tournament. Lost to another up and coming Swedish team.

Tbf, this isn't the same ES that accomplished said things, and outside of their (one and only?) european escapade, ES looked stagnant in NA for the latter half of 2021 (with an uptick in their form when they benched sonic and brought in floppy). On paper the squad is technically better overall and stands to improve upon their past results, but I honestly think that that time is a ways away yet, perhaps not even in 2022 (if you want to be pessimistic about it). We shall see however: The tactical base and mechanical ability are definitely there, at the very least!

dude this NA col roster is actually stacked as hell and with proper roles too, also pretty much all the players are hungry for a good tier 1 chance rather than having burnt out stuck up older players with no motivation, this is gonna be an insanely hype team. even if they have a rough start which i think is possible, given the fact that col have reserved spots in some big tournaments theyre for sure gonna be a tier 1 team in some time

From an outsider i see them in the 12th-18th range with the current roster
If they wanted to be a solid top 10 they needed JKS (Who is already contracted with Complexity)

Depends what Complexity are trying to do with this roster, Like are they trying to add to this core and make them challenge Liquid and EG? Or are they trying to sell off players to Liquid and EG and pickup younger talent and develop them?

young up and coming NA team is a lot more marketable than a random tier 2 dane mix
also idk if extra salt would get killed by a 4k elo russian mix, they did do pretty well in the one funspark tournament, and that was before they added grim and floppy
they also won the qualifier for ESL Pro League over decent teams like sprout and mad lions
JL said he wanted to help NA scene, also this new roster seems pretty good
