FalleN about FNX - (Interview Translation)
 |
Brazil pequenoesqueleto
For Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, the Last Dance is not only about the revival of the Brazilian community, but is also about giving a worthy end to Lincoln “fnx” Lau’s carrer, the only Brazilian player to win three Majors in Counter-Strike. Fallen knows that keeping the veteran focused it’s not going to be easy, but also said that this is one of his biggest goals. — It’s a challenge to bring fnx back, but I see this with good eyes. I have done this with him before several times, with the teams that I played with him, and all of them were very positive — stated the player with an exclusive interview with ge. To the captain it’s not hard to bring fnx to the right path, the real challenge is to maintain him on it. — The challenge is to maintain him for a very long time, we want to be in for one or two years in this project and we know that he puts lots of effort, but when he accomplishes his goal, he starts focusing on other things. The big challenge is to keep him focused — completed Fallen. Besides wanting fnx’s commitment for the project to work, FalleN also sees a personal motivation in the story. The Professor wants that new players meet the “real” fnx. — It’s also a personal goal, I really want that he does good in this project, that he can show his history for those newer fans, there’s a lot of youngsters that don’t know who was the real fnx, that didn’t catch the scene. Who Started playing in 2017 does not know who fnx is, one of the biggest legends that we have in the scene. He deserves a worthy ending for everything he has done. This is important and I will do my max to help him — he confirmed. FalleN ended by saying that fnx is focused and really wants to play — He is hyperfocused, it’s nice to see. It’s a scary thing. He wants to play every day, when the practice ends, he wants to play more, wants to stream, he is always calling is to play. He knows that, when he enters, it’s for real. The challenge is to keep him like that. that's it guys - you can find the original here - ge.globo.com/esports/csgo/noticia/csgo-e.. i'm trying something new here, hope you guys like it, you can call me out on any mistakes i've may have made, i want to get my typing together this year, and this is a way to make it.

Fallen already making excuses for FNX lackluster upcoming performances, I'd be suprised if he's able to keep up with tier 3 NA

He won a 1.6 major in 2006. Quitted CS in 2009. In 2015 when he came back to CSGO many people said "lackluster upcoming performances, I'd be suprised if he's able to keep up with tier 5 NA" What happened? He won 2 majors back to back and some others tier 1 tournaments. Cool huh?

sh*t on me? why? i don't said that fnx will be a monster, just pulled out a curious fact that when he came back after years without CS, he managed to win 2 majors and a couple of tier 1 events and Top 20 HLTV after people saying he would perform terrible. That really happened and i just said it. Read again.

Read once again… I didn’t say Fnx will destroy, I just told you a fact of what happened in the past, deal with it.

f the rating, we just want to see these guys play together. No one cares about results anymore, cause they gave us trophies when they were in their primes

hate on him as much as you want, liquid had bigger core problems than just FalleN being there, even moreso if he was the one supposed to set the others up instead of going for the peeks himself he's washed as hell and I'd love him to transition into pure IGL + support, but you can't put all of the blame of a dysfunctional team on an IGL that wasn't allowed to IGL

not planning but what he said it's true, what other reason other than lack of focus would make you leave a team after winning two majors and ending #19 in the world

Maybe FNX stopped smashing verified girls on Instagram and now he wants to focus on CS good for him for grinding with this team.

I guess girls are the problem for him, I don't blame him if i was that good-looking, I would do the same. Party and smash girls every time.
2022-01-19 22:57
Didn't FNX only win 2 majors not 3 as stated here, his player page even says 2 majors?

It's fun to see them motivated like that but yeah - too little, too late. You can't just get a guy who's been retired for years and expect him to play against professionals. Don't get me wrong, I'd be very happy to 'burn my tongue' but yeah. I'll be betting against this team on every opportunity. The Last Short inc

they may surprise you, they might not be top10 but they'll surely be top20, it's hard to see a lineup this strong struggle against tier2

2022-01-19 22:55
fnx definitely had a lot of talent, imo he's one of the few BR players that could still be pretty good above age 30
2022-01-19 23:00
fnx is the neymar from csgo.
