I went to a Glasweigan pub to watch the Euros final with my mates with flag capes and england shirts. Got so much stick for it was hilarious, everyone else was supporting Italy in that pub. Made for a good bit of fun, there was a couple people who did take it a bit far but it was mostly good honestly.
My mates were English but one was living in Glasgow at the time so we went up to watch the game there. He kept banging on about how Glasweigans despise the English and would beat us up, he was so worried it genuinely scared me a bit as well lmao. Good to know it isn't that bad.

I've been to the UK dude. People were by and large absolutely thrilled to have us around. I've also seen first hand just how deeply American culture is specifically entrenched in British culture.

Mate I've heard from people who are my friends and from plenty of other people who I didn't even know what America was like. YOu guys just get cocky because you're comparing yourself to countries like Mexico and the entirety of South America. Which are just some 3 world countries that make you look good. Your vegetables are like 6x more expensive then in Europe and worse quality no shit Y'all fat. Comparingly, I've never watched a single such US series in my life. Or much any others either, to be exact.
I remember when this new wave of series started trending here with "Lost" some 15 years ago and already then it appeared to the teenage me like the mental narcotics they have proven to be.
So this perspective must be somewhat radical in post-modern standard.
Then again it is also the specific perspective where one can claim at least that objectivity to the issue, where they don't have personal affection towards the contents (although compulsive disaffection remains a risk).
Europeans themselves don't even care about the EU. Nobody takes it as some sort of identity thing, except this person, who probably is Middle Eastern refugee, country hopping around for benefits.
Why? Because it's the only demographic that would love the project called EU as is, and not their actual home country.

I time i was speaking with girls(I'm 17), they said that I'm cool guy, even if I was bit over weighted, about 10kg. Still, i more than sure if u would continue to speak with them, i'm sure that in 70% get a date. It Germany it sort of depends on the Region, people from the north (Schleswig-Holstein) love Denmark, Bavarians and Austrians are like brothers, Baden-Württemberg in the south West gets along great with Switzerland and France and People from the Geographic West are generally very fond of the Low Countries

it is probably for that reason yeah xD there's a lot of arrogance in British foreign affairs and we seem to be involved in a lot of wars. i also think Brits take their language for default, acting like esl speakers are stupid even though most people here speak no foreign language themselves. Brits will never make an effort to speak the local language when holidaying abroad, for example, while any German tourist here would have fluent English.

note how I said BosniaKs because that's a nationality; Bosnians - territorial term referring to everyone living in Bosnia; Bosniaks - national group that's basically between Turkish and Serbian, speaking a language between Serbian and Croatian and muslim
btw this isn't a diss at them, just the easiest way to understand how they differ from Serbs and Croats
so now combine those three nationalities in a single country, give them a shit ton of problems and corrupt governing bodies and you get a shit ton of fuckery + Serbs have their own state which they want to be either independent or part of Serbia itself, called Republika Srpska
both NiKo and huNter are from there and they're Bosnian Serbs by nationality, same goes with some Serbian representing football players or other sport players, like Luka Jovic (who's from the same city as huNter)

USA is making Korean movies and shows worldwide famous (Squid Game / Parasite) and is spreading their culture, and we also help them with military stuff and are their main allies from China/ North Korea influence.
We also fought for them during the Korean War and helped establish their country, and they help us in every shitty war we start out of friendship.

I'm not sure America has been one of Canada's most favoured nations since the Obama years. I'm sure its in the top 10 though
Hard to say.
No question that there is brotherly love in the Nordic countries, but there is also a really good relations with our other neighbors meaning Germany, England, Scotland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.
And Russia seems to adore us, so much that they frequently send their military planes on surprises visits which of course always welcome by sending up out jets to greet them at the door.
But we also have fans all over the globe, some just for certain aspects of our history or sports or LEGO.
So saying who like us the most is impossible to say, based on export numbers the #1 is the US, closely followed by Germany, and then Sweden, the UK and Norway with China not far behind. If you use the number of tourist visits the same list is the Germany, Sweden, Norway and Holland however geography plays a role in both tourism and trade, so who to choose.
Maybe we should consider Russia again as I am sure they have invasion plans, but then again I am sure they also have plans on how to nuke us and everybody else so it is not like its something special about us.

I mean I guess they're mostly formal relationships yeah, Canadians are culturally closer to Americans overall I guess. However, there are like 2-3 million Dutch descendants in Canada I believe. Many of my friends have direct family in Canada, so there is a sort of relationship between both countries..

correct #637 - Irish have emigrated to the US ever since people started moving there, to flee religious persecution and poverty, and about 1/5 of the country (1.5 million people) left for America during the potato famine in the 1800's. Well, it's easy being Norway and liking everybody, when you have shitton of oil, do not belong to any of these crippling unions or leagues and can just chill in semi-isolated wealthy independence.
Meanwhile the rest of us have to actually work with each other to enable the high standard of living. Oh I love living here and I wouldn't want to live elsewhere, but I'm also aware that we have a problem with being overly conservative, at least in my opinion. But then again, we're just kind of divided in that sense, and since I live among people that aren't so conservative I'm fine. But still, all of our choices affect all people from our country, so it isn't a problem we can just ignore. I'll leave that to people more well-versed in politics, though.

Ofc it was a big issue when Russia artificially broke off Åland from Sweden and when it remained as Finland after it’s independence there was no Russia forcing Åland to stay so people wanted to secede and join Sweden. I think the referendum got like 90% in favor of joining Sweden but it’s fine nowadays as people aren’t pushing for secession and Åland has great measures of autonomy.

Most countries don't know we exist, English don't like the welsh that much, Scottish and Welsh kinda pretend to like each other but they are both quite nationalistic so when push comes to shove they don't like each other. Russian vodka is superior, hands down. It doesn't produce the throat irritating tickle and the taste of wet cardboard, that Koskenkorva and the likes do.
I think Finland of today is more of a beer country than a vodka country, though. You can rarely see young people buying vodka, unless it's students making punch or something.
