It only shows the share of population that is in intensive car due to covid. Nothing else.
No saturation. And remember that most of these cases are still due to delta.

There are not 1000000 ICU spots per million people. In most countries if you reach 50 the ICUs are already full.

Your country has around 60 ICU beds per million people. In normal conditions hospitals don't need that many and they always have a few free spots in case of big accidents etc.

And that's not even counting the fact that an ICU stay is very damaging for the body and very expensive for the healthcare system. That's why it is preferable to have as few people go through intensive care as possible, even if we have enough spots.

Yes it did in several countries in the 18/19 season and no covid is not saturating beds. The isolation of covid patients it the big problem. Similar to MRSA and other contagious conditions that require admitted patients to be isolated and PPE by staff
Due to protocol admitted patients are considered if they had covid within the last 30 days
