Sup guys my mouse (Logitech G102) started doubleclicking few weeks ago. It doesn't happen all the time but quite often unfortunately. Is there any easy fix to this cause Im not really good at repairing things, you know so I wouldn't like to touch stuff inside of it.

will try the thing with windows settings, but Im not sure if I can return it as I have it for quite a long time already and the warranty period might have expired + I might have corona right now

Tried to fix my G Pro wired that way. Ended up killing the switch entirely, had to buy new mouse. The way it's designed, it is next to impossible to re-tension it and reassemble it in place. Idk if g102 switch is better.
The trick worked with my old g100s. But it lasted less than a month, and the button started dying again.

I mean, if it's still under warranty, RMA is obviously the best choice. But here, OP said in #4 that he's had the mouse for quite some time, so warranty is no longer an issue.
Also, I have done this repair dozens of times now (most of my family usees Logitech mice, so I got to do it quite 'often'), if you are careful it is usually pretty easy.
I haven't done it with a G102 but I'd be surprised if it was vastly different than the ones I've 'operated' on

My Corsair did this shit and they kept saying it was the physical mouse instead of their shitty iCUE software
Every time it happens I just order a new one put the old one in the box and refund it sayings its defective because fuck them if they tell you to just buy a new one and cant even be bothered to fix a software issue that has years worth of bug reports
Probably the fastest fix tbh is just to do the same if you can get it from Amazon or somewhere else that wont bother checking

yes and no, have had both wierd and wireless, they are super confy but the quality sucks sadly. i love the fucking mouse but its allways something wrong with it. the wired one started dcing and i had my wireless for maybe 1 and a half month and it started dubble clicking... other than that its a great mouse and really light and ergonomic
I had a logitech double click last year, and just got it replaced thru the warranty but I hear u can repair it pretty easily.
It took over 1 month for me to get the replacement because of the process u need to go through, show video proof of the double clicking, cut the wire on your mouse, send a ton of pictures, get it delivered, and its not like they respond instantly.
So I would just try to repair or buy a new one, my logitech replacement also started double clicking faster than my first one so I ended up buying a steelseires instead of trying to get it replaced lol
Just replace the switch. I've replaced my mouse's switches a total of 3 times over 7-8 years, with no other problems. It takes 15 minutes and is cheap, much better than any other option.
Try breathing into the mouse, the moisture will help, it's a temporary fix though.

this is a logitech budget mouse so it wasn't built to last long. i had a logitech g300s and a g203 (also budget mice) and they broke within less than a year or two.
sure u can fix it on yt but its sort of a hassle. just get a new mouse (i got the razer deathadder v2 and its working me wonders rn ^^^)
get a zowie mouse, their clicks work.
if could disassemble it and find the button, just put a drop of WD40 an it will stop the double click.
I did it with my 1.1 se of 2006 and he is back to live haha
I just retired him because he didnt work well in windows 7 and 10.
