device always had much higher ARD anyway, especially when he was top3-4 player (sh1ro had 75.7 in 2021, device usually had ~80. Even 2021 device had higher ADR and of course much higher impact, all these with significantly lower rating 2.0)

when 90% of the awp players including in tier 1 has lower ADR than the best rifler of the team you comment makes no sense. Cuz by normal circumstances the ADR of the AWP player is lower than a rifler. To have equal or higher ADR he needs to do a lot more kills than anyone else.
So your comment makes 0 sense cuz your argument is lost.

If he heavily underperforms in the final and Hobbit does very well, Hobbit could potentially win it too. But chances are kinda low that happens.

sh1ro can't hard carry like zywoo does and his good stats fundamentally depend if ax1le can find entrires
He would have to permanently change his playstyle to have anywhere close to the same level of impact as those two. If he pulls these kind of numbers in stacked tier-1 events consistently then he'll be in the conversation. I just don't see it happening.

You think it will help him? HLTV isn't bunch of idiots, you already have seen it in 2021 rating. You can't have higher spot just looting Tier 5 events, i don't think that there will be MVP btw.

It is the first MVP-worthy event of the year. Petar said so in one of his recent tweets. But yeah he also said that Bronze-tier awards have negligible impact at the top of the list.

You are correct that MVPs of such events carry less weight, but there is definitely an MVP here. The criteria of minimum Top10/Top30 teams is satisfied.

i mean he still had 1.22 in big events last year and 1.22 lan rating which is great for someone who was kinda new on top level right?
and about his more passive playstyle...its actually better for gambit as a team imo. kinda similar to astralis with device. there is no reason to risk economy and impactful gun with another 3 players that can make plays.
