Yeah thats an issue I have looked at it and it doesnt seem to do solid colors with any customisation.
2022-01-25 06:31

it has solid colors like one color for the entire keyboard, just have to keep tuning till it's stationary

But there is no way for me to in and edit the RBG code of the color?

Broke people who have to justify their shit by saying better stuff is pointless, like some guy who has a GTX 980 and an I7 7700K tell me all the time saying a I9 12900K and RTX 3090 is just a pointless waste of money.

Well, not at all. You can do 3D or Render lots of videos. Not his bussines what you are doing with such setup. This guy is propably mom's "ECONOMIST" or just jealous to you
2022-01-25 07:43
All the satisfaction that you think you have from mechanical keyboards is just a cope to justify your waste of a purchase. The only thing you are paying for in mechanical keyboard is a loud metal backplate with flashy lights. This is the equivalent to preferring to spend your money on rbg ram/cooler instead of a more powerful cpu. The only arguments to chicklet keyboards is that it is not a mechanical keyboard. This is why mechanical keyboards are a scam and people like you continue to shill it. The uncomfortable feeling that you believe you get from typing on a chicklet keyboard is just that your hand posture has been fucked up from using inferior mechanical keyboards. Shills like you really are trying to argue that it is better to have hands on a keyboard claw-grip style. Where you'd need to consider not fully pressing down the key and you need to actually need to wait to release the key before transitioning your fingers to a new one. Somehow this is a more responsive feeling to you than just having a keyboard that lets you press keys efficiently with no thought.

This is moronic.
2022-01-25 20:28
"The only arguments to chicklet keyboards is that it is not a mechanical keyboard." ignoring durability, ease of customization and repair, end user support, better materials, and the ability to build it yourself as a diy project,,, sure you could say that. mechanical keyswitches also carry the benefit of not having to bottom out to perform a full key press, with speed switches you can easily type faster than on membrane/scissor (this is why typists use mech usually). lastly, if youve ever played a rythm game on a membrane/scissor switch, you know how shit a lack of N-key rollover is and how trying to press a scissor multiple times quickly is way harder since half the time you lift and the key remains pressed. you could say theres no benefit,,, you would be wrong but you can certainly say it

there's nothing saving your shitty $300+ mechanical keyboard from those big keycaps and large travel distance "but...... but.. mah speed switches" doesn't even compare to a scissor switch

do you actually think there's an appreciable difference in ANY keyboard switch's time to actuate???? The fact that those dogshit cherry mx speed switches even exist is fucking stupid... they're just more sensitive, even worse reds.

I have looked at them the K4 seems decent so does the Hyperx alloy FPS, I have also been looking at steelseries and razer since they have some interesting switches that are like mechanical but actuate differently.

I have had the XG1-R-LED for a long time, almost best thing I ever bought. It is the ordinary Cherry MX Red but damn they feel good. It's also heavy so it won't move around which is lovely, the K4 is basically the same weight. I've had it since 2016 and I haven't noticed any performance issues apart from worn that comes with use. I have tried Steelseries and they are fine and since I'm a long time Razer hating extremist I would go for Steelseries or Xtrfy since I'm a delusional fanboy. =D

The razer huntsman look interesting, I have only ever had a razer mouse pad so I have no real opinion on them, the really sensitive actuation may help a little in game prehaps. The cost is kinda silly though, 189 for a keyboard is just silly.

I would go to an electronics store (or whatever they're called) and just try different keyboards and get yourself your own opinion on different brands and models. Reading online doesn't really help at all if you have nothing or little to refer to. I believe the keyboard is the thing you have for the longest time before switching, it's like that for me atleast. Too be fair I got a really good price on my keyboard when I bought it and 189 (I guess pounds) seems a little too much. Although it depends on how long you will have it for.

Whats so nice about these Keyboards? They seem to have a nice slope, but other than that I cant really see an advantage to them. Also those topre switches seem like a hybrid between rubber domes and mechanical ones which is really weird.

amazon.com/dp/B08VNT29L1/ref=twister_B08.. I have this keyboard and can only say positive things so far about it. Some switches felt weird but it's hot-swappable so I switched them with the ones from less used keys. There's only clicky and linear tho

I'm currently using the Reddragon K530 with brown switches. It may turn alot of people off, but i've had this keyboard for almost a year and it has served me amazingly. Apart from the switches (which are quite nice tbf), the RBG is fantastic, considering it's value and how little expectations are from keyboards of this value. It also has bluetooth, making it both wired and wireless. All of this comes at a light 50$, which is 100% worth for me so far.

Why did i read kyaerbe suggestions...
2022-01-25 21:26
If you like the one you have then you could use the full size G915, also Logitech G so you can get the same switches etc. If you want to change brands then something like the Corsair K100 would be good.
2022-02-06 18:21
im pretty sure they make a fullsize apex, ive heard really good stuff about that board as a prebuilt. if youre looking for customization though the Tofu 96 is not quite a full fullsize, but has full functionality and very high quaity (from what ive heard). I currently use a yunzii KC84 which is a budet board and not fullsize, but i can vouch for yunzii as a decent manufacturer. Currently have it set up with gateron blues

I think brown switches are very underrated. I recommend trying. Overall I think all things you physically hold or touch, you should feel before buying.
