I said that karrigan has 16 LAN trophies, OP said that karrigan was carried by NiKo and rain, to which I replied that he had won trophies without in his time in mousesports as well. You said karrigan won in 80% of his 16 trophies in FaZe out of nowhere, it's astonishing how people respond when they don't have anything to back up their claims with, and instead argue semantics.

Nexa should've said this to Niko, not on interviews after. And he knew getting Niko in the team would mean that he wouldn't be able to micromanage him so why stay in the team at all then? Sounds like too much crying and excuses.

Yeah, NEXA is showing how mentally handicapped he is. Saying old G2 was better without NiKo even though they never won anything or even got close. He said he doesn't like that NiKo has to godfrag or they lose, which is not NiKo's fault. So I'll ask again, where is the source that says NEXA doesn't like NiKo?

karrigan had two top 20 players in this year yet he didn't win even low tier tournaments.
Even worse, FaZe had only ONE decent tournament placement in entire year (3-4th at IEM Cologne 2021).
While NiKo with G2 atleast had decent placements on most of the tournaments, not to mention major grandfinal.

Found the source of nexa's comment and I don't really like the vibe of this podcast. I'm really not sure whether nexa and ruggah are just finally able to speak about problems they had in previous versions of OG and G2 or if it serves to push a positive narrative about nexa's transfer to OG

Absolutely. Honestly I can't wait 'til G2 boys get a chance to speak up about this 'cause it will surely come up in interviews and I don't think NiKo and Aleksib will be particularly happy about the stuff that's been said. Very scummy on OG's part to publicly throw both previous rosters under the bus in order for a suboptimal transfer to look good.
I feel bad for Aleksi honestly, he could've played for any other international team but he stood loyal to the org for 2 years only to get this kind of treatment on the way out. Very slimy, OG would've been nothing without him in CSGO.

I think when he says that they were a better team before NiKo he puts the emphasis on the team, like they were better AS a team than with NiKo, a better team environment and cohesion, even if maybe they weren't as good skillwise

Yeah, but I don't think he's accusing him of anything, just stating how he felt. I don't see it as "talking shit" (I know you didn't say that but that's also why I directly replied to eliiiiii_ who did say that) but just saying how you felt pretty openly. I don't think they need to sugarcoat anything.
Also I think the criticism might not even be aimed at NiKo specifically but just to say that he prefers teams with a strong bond over a strong superstar (even if it's kind of a way to build a narrative for OG with nexa, it's a valid view on things imo)

I mean yeah, you could say that he wasn't necessarily talking shit about NiKo individually but the way it blends in with everything else he said leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. I think eliiii said that he was talking shit about G2 in general, not just NiKo, which is true and it's ugly to see him shit on a couple years of relationships built with that org and people involved in it, it looks very dishonest and bitter. Imo he shouldn't be saying any of those things merely out of respect for people he worked with if nothing else, especially he shouldn't be making negative implications about NiKo when he basically gifted him the most successful year of his career thus far. By all means he should try to shed a positive light on OG and show his belief in the project but he could've achieved that without throwing everyone else under the bus. OG could've done the same while being respectful to Aleksib.

I guess they could've been more tasteful about it yeah, they had to point out some flaws in G2 to justify their intention of becoming better and making this new part of his career better than what it has been so far too, I kinda get that, but I also haven't watched the entire thing yet so maybe I'm missing some other info, fair enough
