I have two (my mom has) west highland white terriers, I believe they're called. Max is 10 and Perry (Yes. that is HER name, named after the platypus from Phineas & Ferb) is 11, remember to enjoy your little family members while they're here!

i had a german shepherd from age 8-20, hit me like a fucking train when she passed
in the end she couldn't even walk and she was constantly sick, so we decided on putting her down, which is just awful cause u start to ask a lot of ethical questions like how do u just decide to have an animal killed, but i guess u have to look at those 12 good years u had and remember that the dog itself knows its a becoming a burden on its caretakers when it gets to a point where it cant even walk and its in constant pain

I feel you, I think I'd be really sad if my dad's dog died too, I'm also scared it would make my dad really sad :/
Your english is ok btw, it's not always the best grammar but I understand what you mean :)

When my childhood Labrador died when I was 15 it left my devastated. But the “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened” mindset helped me a lot. While you don’t really ever “get over it” the pain goes by and the sadness becomes less, and then at some point you won’t be sad anymore but happy because your Pet friend has given you so much joy and has had such a full filled life with you

I had a golden retriever since i was like 1. never really walked her by myself, but often with my dad around a nearby lake. we didnt have a leash or a collar for her ever. we just marked her ear (not with a knife like the sapmis, but with a phonenumber on the inside of her ear) on walks or while everyone was at school/work. we used to leave her outside when it was warm enough outside or if it didnt rain and she never ran off or walked out in the street to approach some stranger. others in the neighbourhood knew her and would pet her as they walked by. I played with her alot when i was younger
we let her go when she was 13 when she couldnt walk by herself after getting ALS. it hurts because my grandmother passed the same way. It was a great experience growing up with a dog and i think it thought me alot, and made me good at handling animals. if i ever get a family on my own i would definitively have one, i would have one now but im not ready for the responsibility and i dont have a place where a dog can be very happy. also, a dog getting super excited and happy for the same branded dog food she has eaten her whole life is funny.
if you get a dog, dont buy cheap dog food. it will have worse fur, be more tired and shit much more often.
