Many people think it's all about aiming or crispy one-taps and stuff, whereas rifling/AWPing at that level is not even about mechanical skills, as much as it is about gamesense and teamplay.
Everybody can hit their shots at that level. Winning usually comes down to timing, positioning, immediate gamesense for self as well as for the team, utility usage, team setups and strats, and ofc accuracy and consistency of shots. In that sense, ZywOo and s1mple are superior to nearly everyone in the scene. It is hard for many people to digest this fact though.
thats bs what niko is doing is truely special, hes not only getting stats, but making 4v5s and 3v5s with big map control. i would say zywoo is definatly the secound best rifler but s1mple is below both ax1le and hobbit if we count online, and if we are only counting lan even the likes of apex were having more impact on the rifle.
if we just go like i saw s1mple ace with the rifle so he must be top1 rifler firstly keep in mind he baits hes whole team both as rifler and as awper, but as an awper thats kinda how u have to play sometimes. but secoundly, anyone remember refresh 1v5, teses 4k spraydown from jungle, rain shooting a runboosting player out of the air from a site to long on dust, ropz ace on nuke, the 2 million first kills apex got on ct nuke, all better plays from players that are not better than niko or zywoo, so why should s1mple be

if they were better than NiKo with the rifle then they'd play it because it's a much more impactful weapon when played well
also $2050 cheaper on T side
the fact they pick up rifle once in 7 rounds and find 2 kills while having 2 people holding flashes for them doesn't mean that they could do that for 30 rounds per game with useless teammates in major semifinals :)

yes that's their role, but it also allows them to have 1.4 rating without doing anything impactful, while 1.0 rated riflers can be much more valuable because some of them have to run through triple angles and literally extract water out of stone for a chance to win a round

NiKo is one of the best rifle players ever and s1mple and ZywOo are just equally mechanical gods.
i arent thinking that. yeah they can do some good rifle rounds but it has no meaning if its not a whole game, series, event, month or year. niko is consistent, i doubt s1mple would have the same consistency with committing to rifle completely and not hybrid. zywoo probably could tho since he doesnt even want to play awp
thats what people think when they see them playing with rifle for a few rounds. They make a few good kills and then everybody thinks they are the best lol. If s1mple and zywoo rifled for a year they wouldnt be as half as impactfull as they are now. Zywoo and s1mple have the whole team playing around them while NiKo makes plays for his.

S1mple's rating for the few months he rifled in 2019 for example were in the 1.20 ranges. If you don't think s1mple having 44.7% of his kills with the awp doesn't inflate his rating hard as fuck compared to riflers youre clueless.
Hltv should have some data on this and i'd be very interested in it.
100% sure both s1mple and ZywOo have a lower rating in rounds they play with a rile than NiKo.
And i suspect ZywOo would be decently above s1mple as well with a rifle. ZywOo could have a claim for the 2nd best rifler in the world possibly.
S1mple to me is just head and shoulders above any player in the world with an AWP. No awper is close to him. And fair play, the awp is the strongest and has the highest ceiling of impact and he's the best with it, thus the most impactful player.

zywoo rifle in 2021 is actually massively underrated, with all the stats he put up he is only #16 in awp kpr! meaning there is a huge part of rifle kills
also his aim is extremely underrated, he is probably the best pistol player in history (3 years in a row the best pistol player, with quite a big gap to the next)
even electronic would shit on s1mple and ZywOo with rifles. NiKo is just on a whole new level when it comes to rifling

I agree that s1mple and ZywOo are probably top 3 riflers right now, but you’re delusional if you think s1mple or ZywOo can quit awping and still put up the numbers like NiKo was putting up at the end of the year. They can get close, but they’ll drop off at least a bit statistically from their awping numbers.
