While leaving class today the girl that I unintentionally captivated with my charm approached me (two other girls did too at later points though I had talked to them in class earlier so it made sense through mere-exposure effect) and asked if I wanted to go to the club with her, and that she was tired of all the Law students being constantly stressed and that she just wanted to relax with someone. But I told her no. I didn't tell her why because it would be cringe, but in my mind I knew: I have to reach my goal no matter what. Every sacrifice up until now has been made for this moment, I cannot let the past be in vain. The only woman that will stand by me will be my equal, a proud and dignified individual that has worked as hard as me with a dream so powerful that it engulfs and consumes every dream in its path. I'm scared I might be wasting the prime of my life. I'm scared that I will lose everyone. I'm scared of who I will become. But I know that it is necessary. Greatness cannot come without sacrifice.
