sergej is really talented and already showed he has what it takes to compete with the best, so if he gets a chance at a solid tier2 team he will surely do great there. I guess it all depends on him, if he even wants to play or not

Really is a shame that he got fucked over by -Aleksib + suNny, already 3 years where he and Aerial despite being t1 capable players have had to sit back and waste away in t2/3 Hopefully both get some kind of redemption before they start to get to the point of retirement

Finnish scene will be stagnant for well beyond their time, Banjo needs to pass out of fnatic academy, Jamppi needs to come back from VALORANT, sergej will need to re-find motivation and Jimpphat will need to become old enough to play t1 events All that then either a. x7 or Aerial needs to try and IGL and use that t1 experience they have because sLowi isnt the greatest, or b. Aleksi needs to really fuck up in G2 and get brought out by HAVU for really cheap It is unlikely but honestly they do deserve a happier ending to their career than to be the sidepieces to the story of how allu destroyed ENCE

Unlucky, there aren't really many awpers left aside from the scraps like poizon and NaTo and this team would probably need a strong independent awper to make up for AZR still being in 2019 in terms of strats

Yeas maybe, but what every single one of these players need, is success. If the couldn't win something, very fast if I migth add, they would probaply go down the same road as gorillaz did. This is my opinion on the subject atleast.

True but the difference with NXT and reusing the same pieces that were last good 3 years ago is pretty different All of NXT have fresh mindsets, are young, have good aim and have enough veterans in the org and coaching staff to back them up for example, GORILLAZ has old players, rusting aim and little innovation

+1 I do not understand the logic behind these old farts just reqruiting same players over again. I quess it has something to do with the fact that they want to prove the players from the 2018 era are still good and can make it. I dont think they understant thath their value comes from experience, not from raw aim.

It also comes from brand value I suppose Look at Gambit, they are a pretty likeable team and always in conversation for finals but they have a much smaller fanbase than other teams Recycling notable players at least gets more views and merch sellings for the orgs at least, thats probably the only reason they recycle old talent

Ye it is a good model to go with, ENCE/Gambit style works well But the thing is these players were all semi-notable before, Ax1le had played on the main Gambit roster before, interz had been around for a fair bit I think, it was sh1ro and nafany that were the new additions there, for ENCE, it was Aerial that was the most unknown, x7 had some international showings on iGame and Aleksi and sergej on HAVU had made a few t1.5 events Truth is I think for a proper new-gen team to come together it requires all the pieces to have experienced a short stint on actual t1 teams first before that project collapses, so somewhere down the line there are a few sacrificial teams, but the academy league could change this

Havu or some upcomming finnish roster is the only way I see sergej coming back. After the recent flusha comments and scoops before even gorillaz, I think it is hard fo sergej to find a team internationally.

I never saw anything super special in him. One year wonder, or even half of 2019 cuz he sucked by the end of it. All teams he can join are some FPL mixes like Gorillaz. I don't see him joining any serious team, I don't see why anyone would get him. He hasn't shown anything great after 2019

yea, that's true though that it would be weird, but well atleast he wouldn't be scared of some academy league lans, when you have already played at a major final against prime Astralis Also, he should get some motivation as playing in an academy team: he would probably want to show that he does indeed come back to T1 cs and get out from the academy roster soon as possible. Lastly, prolly any tier 1 team wouldn't want him (maybe Mouz if they want to take a huge gamble?) and any tier 2 teams prolly won't have the money to buy out Sergej from the org that bought Gorillaz's roster. That leaves Academy rosters as the only option for Sergej.
