world cup is just luck. theres only 1 every 4 years and 1 bad game could get you eliminated already, Champions league you gotta be good consistently and its triple the games and it is 10x harder than World Cup. if Cristiano Ronaldo was born in like Brazil, Spain, France, Germany or even England he would already have a world cup under his belt but he didnt, its actually a BIG Miracle till this day that he managed to win a Euro and a Nations cup with Portugal, and for Messi idk how he only won a Copa America with Argentina last year, they literally happen more often than Euro's and are 10x easier

The reason playing for Real was almost guaranteed to win a UCL was because of cr7. theres a reason after he left they never won anymore, he was always the topscorer, consistently scored in finals and kept showing up in the most important games and doing hattricks all over the place, if you replaced Cr7 with anyone else at that time i dont think Real Madrid would have won any of those UCL's

most of those games are 50-50 games where messi creates the difference and lets barcelona win. The games they lose are most of the time like bayern vs fürth where barcelona get heavily outplayed. No other player in history can regularly turn around a game where his team is heavily outplayed. Your comments make it clear that you haven't been watching his games.
TLDR: You are wrong. Messi performs well most of the times when it matters. And make it look like it was easy and it didn't matter. (Not talking about 2022, i think he was indeed bad this season.)

Honestly, no ! I am French and obviously a big fan of Zidane, he is probably my favorite player ever but we cannot say he was better than CR7. Zidane was most entertaining because of his skills, but he was bad physically, bad with his head and sometimes bad mentality. CR7 is good at everything, he is a monster physically, good with the head, both feet, perfect mentality wise, we have to say he is more complete..

Pele played against many big European teams throughout his career, and he dominated against the best of them at the time, he has a bigger goal ratio than games played against European teams. Pele invented so many moves and skills that players use today, he could play with both feet and he could pass really well, one of the most complete players ever.

Messi was never "significantly" better, he was also at the right place at the right time because he was playing with the best Spanish generation of all time that won the CL even before Messi was a key player and the majority of that generation that played for Barcelona won multiple Euros and a World Cup easy.

CR7 also played on a super team, in fact he only played in the best teams in the world all throughout his career. Real Madrid won 3 CLs in a row not just because of CR7. It was a legit superteam rivaling Barcelona in the early 2010s.

Ronaldo's 1 goal is against Brighton and he scored a hattrick against arguably one of the worst Tottenham sides in years, a team which got eliminated in the group stage of Conference League and is currently sitting at 8th place. Not to mention Ligue 1 actually has a lower goal per match ratio than EPL, but PSG is a "super team" so there's that.
PSG got knocked out because they conceded 3 goals in 15 mins; Donnaruma couldn't do an easy clearance in the first one, second one would be an offside goal if it wasn't for Hakimi and Marquinhos literally assisted the third. Don't forget that Ronaldo missed a penalty against Middlesbrough, a Championship team, which cost them the (arguably) only trophy they had a realistic chance of winning.

So they should be blamed for playing better? Lmao, Manu has the most expensive squad in EPL (by transfer fees) and they're struggling to make it to the top 4 this season. Not to mention that despite many big chances which Messi created were wasted in the past weeks, he's still sitting on the 1st place for assists while playing ~8-10 less matches.

None of those players except for Messi can be compared to Ronaldo. Their careers and achievements pale in comparison. Even Quaresma was better than Ronaldo for year or two and now he is in Turkey and Ronaldo is scoring hattricks in hardest league. Magical player is cringe af, you just didnt see them play after their skill declined cause they stopped playing.
